Updates on progress and announcement

Progress is progressing on the next Bibite update "Energy and Predation"!
Beside a few setbacks (moving and starting a new job), things are going well. Expect a video in less than a month !

What if the Bibites had some sort of "Common Sense" like, maybe attacking takes energy, and bibites hsve health, so lets say there was a Small Carnivore(A1) , and Large Carnivore(A2) and then a Small Herbivore(B1) And a Large Herbivore(B2); If A1 was looking for a Herbivore eat, because of their size they do less damage, and needing energy quickly would attack B1 because it has lower health than B2, but maybe A2 because of its size needed more energy, there fore a larger meal; so A2 would attack B2 Because attacking B1 to get so little reward would by of lesser value to the creature. So what i'm saying is, What if creatures depending on their traits acted differently or fought differently to their benefit.

It is hard to tell being text but I was not being sarcastic. I genuinely enjoy how the bibite directly turns into meat. Now you might want to add some sort of animations for when they die from an attack so you can tell the difference in a chaotic scene.

Make it so the more the bibit swings to a plant based diet or carnivorous diet the more efficient the are at that diet. For example if full herbivore eats a plant then receive twice the value as omnivore that is exactly 50/50

Léo Caussan The high quality videos you’ve produced suggest to me that the code is also of a high quality; and the time you’ve put into it is apparent with the update video. Thanks for your valuable insight on when to open source! The story of this project sounds like a beautiful baby bird yearning for a day to fly. Yet, the baby bird is cute and fragile and needs warmth and protection. It must be tough for mama birds to let go, but us birdwatchers eagerly await to compliment your parenting for when you’re ready :)

Je te renvois vers mon premier commentaire sur ta présentation d'une heure parce que j'ai fais un petit pavé. Mais c'est dommage que tes créatures ne passent pas par un stade "charogne" avant de devenir de la viande consommable. Également dommage que tu n'ais pas encore prévus des bibites qui puissent produire un type de nourriture pour en attirer d'autres qui produisent la nourriture dont ils ont besoin. Comprendre que certains bibites "évolueraient" en "plantes" fixe (ou mobiles) afin d'atirer des individus afin de les tuer et se nourrir, ou d'espérer que l'un d'eux meure et donc se nourrir de son cadavre ou des pellets qu'il laisserait derrière. Je suis de loin pas un expert, mais si tu as besoin de conseils sur les relations diverses entre proie/prédateur/plante/parasites etc, contacte moi. Et continus, ton projet est très très TRES intéresant.
