Why not make this available for ALL of your shopify customers? Why would I spend $2300 a month or more so that I can give something away to my customers? I'm all about giving my customers a deal, but not at the price of a mortgage.

I have the smile app integrated but the my checkout page does not allow for customization. I am assuming only for paid templates or Shopify Plus?

The entire Checkout Extensibility concept is garbage. It is literally the *worst* developer experience on the planet. It might not be so bad if they didn't have the *worst* documentation on the planet. Read their tutorial about how you disable the current footer and create your own, it's absolute nonsense. Pretty sure they had an intern write it.
