Updating Sigma Lenses for Sony E Mount in 2022

Follow the directions - right - it says put the firmware on the SD and power up camera - then push the button that says "update firmware" - doesnt exist on a AR7 ii.. Please hold my hand.

I’ve got the 28-70mm 2.8 with the sony a7iv on latest firmware 2.0 but this lens update is just not working for me on a mac. Getting the cannot update message in the software but removing battery or dragging mount icon to the trash does not resolve anything. Any ideas? Thanks 🙏

There is an update on 12.22.22 Ver .03- but there is a note at the very bottom of the section “Before Updating” that mentions Windows 10 and 11 are not supported…. Is there a work around here?

Question, Im trying to update my sigma Sony e mount lens via Mac and it will not allow me to download the firmware. Its saying the software needs to be updated. Have you experienced this?

I have never owned a Mac, so I can't even begin to tell you how to troubleshoot this, sorry

Your Mac OS is old and needs to be updated to work. Or you'll have to find a legacy installer on the sigma website.

Tonight i tried to updating my Sigma 100-400 but i can't do it because need previous update by Sigma ,i have version 1.0 and it's available 3.0 but the app don't let me update because first need the version 2.0...what a shit from Sigma
