Back in the eighties, I as a working class kid attended an upper class school in my town, and there was this highbrow teacher bullying me, like blaming and punishing me for things I did not do, giving me worse grades than I deserved etc. Then there was this photography class I attended and while out taking pics for a project, I saw him cheating on his wife with who later turned out to be the headmaster´s/principal´s significant other (which I did not know at the time). OF COURSE, 17 year old me took a whole series of photos, developed and multiplied them, hung them up all around the school building and sent a set of copies to his wife. not quite a year later - his wife had gotten a divorce and he was teaching at a different school by then (cos he suddenly and miraculously hadn´t gotten along with the headmaster/principal any more) - I ran into him in town. I greeted him the freindliest I could and with a smile on my face told him it was me who had ended both his marriage and his job. I´ll never forget the look on his face - and still enjoy my triumph over that bastard.

I had a friend who so completely ruined my self-esteem I believed her when she said I had no creative talent. Five years later I was hired for a job in the Entertainment industry. Six years after that I was a department head and a producer. Then I beat cancer. She now lives in my old home town and has a tax lien on her house. We paid cash for our cars and our house. Sent her five screen shots of different credits and crew shots. She blocked me. No regrets.

Back in 7th grade, a girl falsely accused me of touching her and this led to the whole class turning against me. One year later, around Diwali season, she and her friends were playing around with their shoes off in class for some reason. I was outside and I found a centipede in the ground so I decided to lure it in with an empty soda bottle and dumped it in her shoe without being noticed. When she was about to put her shoes on, the centipede bit her. It was so bad that she had to be escorted to the hospital til lunch time. I was never caught and I regret nothing.

Had a chief while in the Navy who just didn't like me... He seemed hell bent to harass me at every opportunity, and on more than a few occasions did pretty much everything in his power to get me written up. Nothing came of it. Then on the first med'cruise with him, he was working the quarterdeck when I got back with a group of friends, and of course everyone had had a few. Europe is considerably more liberal in their views of drinking than the U.S. so a lot of us rarely got opportunities to drink State-side... BUT of course, my chief absolutely has to write me up for being dangerously drunk and make some big production of it. This results in a Command decision that I'm to be escorted through town by someone at least E-5 in rank... and some general asinine requisite that I can be tested at any time for alcohol and what-not. Ordinarily I don't defend drunkenness, but literally EVERY member of the crew returned drunk... plenty were considerably worse off than me... SO our visit to Naples comes up. I dropped the hint I knew a few people around the Pompeii area, and the Medical Officer (A Lt.Cmdr) decided to join me as the escort. AND an officer of any rank was higher then E-5, so that was easily settled. I did know people around the Pompeii exhibits, digs, and even several of the shops and restaurants on that end of town... SO I got us into a nice restaurant (3 Michelin stars nice)... AND guess who shows up... As luck would play out, my Chief and another guy from a different division stormed right through the place to our table while the Med' Officer was away to the bathroom. AND immediately the Chief is bitching about me being out on my own... in spite of strict Command protocols that everyone have a "Liberty Buddy" and on top of my requirement to have an E-5 attached at all times... Then the waiter showed up. Michelin star level establishments are stringent about their own protocols. SO in order to meet with someone inside, you have to be invited. AND of course, upon being asked if I'd invite him, I flat refused. I even explained that he was making a scene, and bothering "us" (not mentioning who the other half of "us" was)... AND in a matter of seconds, there was security, escorting the Chief and his companion (on shore patrol) out of the restaurant. Chief wasn't having it... AND (at this point unbeknownst to me) his tirade got so loud and reckless, they called the police... I found out about the whole of the fiasco the next day, when the Chief's companion recognized me from the restaurant, and tried to blame me for getting them both harassed by the cops. I was called to account for myself in the First Lieutenant's office (He's the officer in charge of Deck Department)... AND I only connected him with the Medical Officer as to our goings on in town, and my conduct... AND that I had no way of knowing there was any fiasco with the police other than presumably that they'd escort the Chief off the premises and then stand guard until he gave up and went away. We'd had a lovely meal, and then a more than publicly available tour of the Pompeii exhibits and digs, and he even recommended that the officers over departments step in and stop the petty enlisted bullshit from growing beyond petty enlisted bullshit... (paraphrased, but not by much) SO long story short, there was a fairly flat refusal to let my Chief continue his active efforts against me personally. It was nearly a full-on transfer to another division of Deck Department, just to keep him separate from me the remainder of the trip. It was pretty glorious... I can't claim entire responsibility, but being able to get a Chief arrested overseas is a gratifying way to retaliate for being an asshole. With almost a month to cool down, he preferred to just avoid me after that. ;o)

(He didn't know thy were for rabbits until I asked where the rabbit treats went and described the box 😂) but anyways, my dog has those kind of waxy looking treats I dont really know how to describe them....the point is they look like fudge, so I got a cookie, put cream cheese, (not the frosting, the actual cream cheese version) and I decorated it very nicely with the doggy treats that looked like fudge. Sure enough, he ate it... thought it was a good revenge until he said the cookie tasted a bit wierd but he liked it anyway...

This girl used to steal my pencils, chew them, then put them back in my locker. One day, I was eating nachos in a restaurant when I came up with an idea. I picked a bunch of jalapeños off ofmy nachos and took them home, before dicing the peppers and mixing them with pink play dough. I replaced my eraser with the mix, then left it on my desk and asked if I could get something out of my locker. Of course she stole my pencil and started chewing. She hadn't brought water with her so she had to wait 2 hours to drink. Her face was so red it was hilarious.

In sixth grade, a boy was being a jackass to me, taunting me, pretending to kick me, things like that. He wouldn't let up and administration refused to step in. Fast forward to probably about late November/early December and it was a rainy day so everyone is eating in the classroom. He'd been picking on one of my friends earlier that day and so that was the last straw. So I stand up and loudly tell him that for the last time, I won't be his girlfriend. The whole class hears, including all his friends. It was great! I don't think I'll ever forget the look on his face, one of my prouder moments.

Had an English teacher in 7th grade who hated female students cause she was married to the hot male teacher (never saw it myself but I did think he had a soothing voice). I had started seeing him during my school breaks and arriving early to his class. No alternative motives, I was just struggling with Math subject we were studying at the time and I wasn’t willing to sacrifice my A grade and he was kind enough to walk me through it step by step till I was confident I had it. Apparently this made me a target. Idk why. Maybe she just snapped one day and decided I would be the example to the other females? Maybe he was telling her about my progress and how proud he was of me? Maybe I was just an easy target? I shall never know. From that moment on, she was rude, put me down especially when I answered wrong, I think she was grading me lower than I deserved but I couldn’t prove it, started glaring at me, kept stealing him away when we were working on my homework cause I was an idiot, over looked bullying when she heard or saw it, ect... This went on for a few months (I think 3?) before I worked up the courage to ask the Maths teacher on how I could get on his wife’s good side cause I was dreading school now whereas before I was excited about learning. He asked me what I meant so I explained. He didn’t interrupt or say I was delusional, just patiently listened with a slight confused frown. Turns out he confronted her about it later and this led to a divorce and him moving away. Still the best Maths teacher I had despite his wife.

The best kind of revenge is the kind you don't plan they just happen. My oldest brother(10 years older than me) bullied me on and off throughout the years when we lived in the same house. So one day many years back, our mom takes him, our sister, and I to this railroad place in PA. He's big into model trains and was picking up this large O-Scale engine from one of the stores there. There were also several other little stores there, one sold snacks and candy. One of my favorite snacks was cheddar cheese popcorn, which this store sold small bags of. My mom gets me one and I scarf it down. Turns out the popcorn was a few days to about a week expired(keep that part in mind). Finally we're all back in the car, he's showing off his new engine all proud. Saying, "Isn't that that the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?" Without thinking I just turn my face to him and deadpan reply, "I think it sucks." Then proceeded to unleash the most noxious and atomic smelling belch of my life right into his face. To this day he maintains that he felt like his "eyebrows were going to melt off of his face." You know it's a good one when even your former tormentor admits to it and is even a little proud of it.

I remember during the first time I went to Summer Camp with my boy scout troop. For context, a summer camp is multiple Boy Scout troops would all camp together and take "classes" to try and earn some merit badges over the course of 5 days. Anyways, one of the merit badge classes I took was horsemanship, which was learning how to take care of horses. There were three guys from another troop that were constantly harassing me, making fun of me when the adults weren't looking, taking up all the room on a bench so that I couldn't sit down, everything from petty to downright mean. Cut to 3-4 days later, when we're mucking out the stalls, or shoveling poop for layman's terms. I'm in a stall by myself, and these three jokers were in the stall next to mine. They kept shoveling their horse poop into my stall, and I'm getting very visibly upset. An adult from my troop tries to come over before I lose my cool, but before he can, I have a nice, stinking pile of horse crap on my shovel, and I throw it into their stall.... also covering them from the waist down. When they tried to call foul, the adult from my troop called them out on the crap they had been flinging into my stall. You can bet my ancestors up in heaven were bragging about me then.

I was bullied when I was a kid. One asshole always took my drink during lunch so I peed in a bottle of apple juice, put it in the fridge and brought it with me the next day. As usual he would come, take it and chug it before I could do anything but this time, I was waiting. I simply looked as he chugged my bottle of "trust me it's apple juice". One chug and he spit it out. It was a good day.

That birthday revenge reminded me the time i turned maybe 8 or 9. I invited just about everyone from our class. There was this girl who dictated pretty much everything (including her parents in home). She started bullying me pretty early (like in 1st grade) and also told everyone they can't be my friends just because she said so. She told everyone not to come to my birthday party. No one did. She showed up like hour and a half after the party was supposed to start just to drop me a birthday card and some random tiny gift when in reality she just came to make sure other kids obeyed her. She was there about five minutes and then left looking smug. I spent my birthday all alone (well my family were there ofc). Bullying never subsided. Not even changing schools helped (just 2km apart). Later i heard she went nuts. Remember the anthrax panic back in the day? Well she thought she was really clever when she snuck to the old schools premises and spread potato flour all over the stairs. Police were called and then came the men in hazmat suits. Finally they found out that it was just a trick and who did it. What i heard she was send to psychiatric hospital. And then finally when we were already adults... I heard she had a baby. Sickly, tiny poor thing... I'm 100% sure the kid will be bullied because she looks different and children are mean. I feel so bad for the child but what comes to her mother... well.... karma will always come to bite you in the butt sooner or later. She will feel the same pain my mom was in when i was bullied. Since that one dumb birthday party i haven't had any actual bday parties. I kinda hate them. I didn't even have my "Dirty Thirties" party 3 years ago (turning 30 is "big party milestone bday" where i live). Traumas...

I swear I remember a story about a couple that got divorced and then a couple years after the divorce was final, the ex husband won the lottery. Not just a small amount, we’re talking “live like a king forever as long as you don’t blow it” kind of money. The ex wife said she would sue him for it, claiming that she was entitled to half, but he bought the ticket YEARS after they divorced, so she had zero claim. I think her suit was thrown out of court, didn’t even make it to trial. Imagine dumping someone for whatever reason, and then they hit the Powerball. Gotta sting, even if the breakup was justified.

My best revenge...my ex-husband and I had recently separated and I still would occasionally find items of his around the house. We were polite to each other so I would collect items as I found them and put together a bag, which I’d give him when he came to pick up our child, wash and repeat. Then I found out he was boinking the neighbor, which coincided with me finding a pair of his underwear under the bed. I laundered the underwear and then went to the backyard and cut a bushel of poison ivy. I put the underwear in a large plastic bag with the poison ivy and shook it well, pressed on it a little bit, and left it to sit for an hour or so. Then I put it in with other items I’d collected to give him on his next visit, crossed my fingers and waited. About a month later he told me about this mysterious rash he’d gotten and how humiliated he’d been at the doctor’s office when he’d been forced to show an angry older nurse his afflicted area... of course I (keeping a straight face) asked him if maybe the neighbor had given him something. I never told him and he never guessed what that rash really was.

When I was younger I was in cub scouts and was looking for a Boy Scout group to join, and I went to a weekend outing with one troop to see if I would like it there. I always loved reading sci-fi and nonfiction books (still do), and I was sitting in my camp chair reading when 3 kids who were also trying out the troop walked up and started giving me shit for reading a Star Wars book. The ringleader had a water balloon in his hand and threw it at me and my book in an attempt to ruin it. However, I caught it mid-air with one hand without bursting it and nailed the kid square in the face where the water balloon popped, soaking him. He walked off, ashamed, and one of his buddies started picking on him for what just happened. Best part was I joined the troop, whereas they quit, and I am in the process of making my Eagle Scout Project right now. Not necessarily intricate, but it was badass at the time and success is the best revenge.

Back in high school I played hockey. There was a guy on my team who hated me for some reason. I was fairly shy and generally kept to myself but he always taunted me and bullied me (maybe because I was an easy target). One day during a practice game, I was playing right defense and was on the other team playing left wing, so we were in the same lane. The puck was dumped into my corner and I raced to get it. He was about 3 strides behind me and I knew that when I stopped at the puck he would body check me hard into the boards. Knowing this, as soon as I got to the puck, I paused a half second and stepped to the side. He slammed himself at full speed into the wall. So incredibly satisfying even 35 years later.

Many revenges have been had by me. Apparently people don’t think I would do Anything like revenge…….but once they know me, and my stories, the hands down winner is when I was a teenager, with a sister a year older who was a not nice person. She had ‘left home’ but all her clothes were still there, and revenge for her soaking all my clothes in bleach, was me unpicking ( cutting) every second stitch in all of her clothes :)) Would only take about 3 to 10 washes for her clothes to literally fall apart, and she had no clue what had happened .

I did something similar while in the Marine Corps. My roommate hated cleaning for inspections. So, I was on duty all day and had taken my time to get my Charlies ready for inspection. I came in pretty late while walking rounds. I told him, dude clean up this room n I'm not doing it! He looks at me like I'm the stupidest person on the planet and says, "You'll have to your Charlies, too, ya know. I grinned at him with a coy look and said, "Yea but I've spent all night getting mine ready, are yours?" Dread sank into his being. I smiled and said, "Clean or get your Charlies ready."

When I was in middle school, there was this girl named Morgan. She made fun of me to her friends because I played with Lego. Her argument always was that "what is he gonna learn from that?" In 8th grade, around the holidays, our English teacher breaks us up into groups of four, and dumps a bunch of marshmallows and toothpicks onto each table. Has us compete to see who can make the tallest structure within five minutes. I knew immediately that Morgan wouldn't listen to me, so I just grabbed as many materials as I could and got to work as if I was the only one in my group. I build a triangle-based structure while most of the class - Morgan and the rest of my group included - tried square-based structures (there was one group who tried a spiral-based structure). With thirty seconds remaining, the rest of my group realizes that my structure was twice as tall as theirs. They quickly dismantle their structure and start placing additional materials in front of me. It's clear Morgan wants to say something but she knows she has to wait since time is so short. I merely turn to the wall behind me, draw a triangle shape connecting three adjacent bricks, and say "ever wonder why they're called Lego BRICKS?" My group won (the spiral group would 100% have beaten us if we'd been given even one more minute, but no one else was close). I think the teacher knew from our faces that I'd done all the work, but shutting Morgan up about my personal choice for free time was all I wanted. This same Christmas, I was given a Lego Mindstorms kit from some high school slightly out of my area, who wanted to recruit me for their robotics team (I was ultimately unable to go because the high school in question was not accessible for my disabilities). Probably the weirdest present I've ever gotten because who just buys a $200 Lego set for a kid you *hope* will come to your school? I wonder if Morgan had something to do with it.

This isn't a revenge story, but i always find it funny as hell when I can remember it (I have memory issues. it's complicated) I'm pretty sure it was middle school, either that or my early years (freshman or sophomore), and we were doing our flag football unit. My team won quite a few games, most of the time because of my strategies. Now. I was (and still am) pretty skinny, but I could run extremely fast. My speed doesn't have much to do with this though. The other team has the ball, and the I end up blocking the guy who had the ball. The guy runs me over like a truck. But, somehow, when he was running over me, I managed to grab his flags. The guy doesn't notice it, makes it to the area marked as the endzone, and turns around. I'm standing there with a shit-eating grin on my face, holding the flags, and the guy's just flipping out. One of the best moments of my life I will try to always remember, if my memory doesn't erase it.

My best friend ditched me for the popular girls during summer break between 7th and 8th grade. One day she and another girl weren't in class and my mom told me she had just een both of them in town. So I called my ex-best friend's house and her brother answered so I said I just wanted to know how she was doing and wishing her a quick recovery. A few minutes later her mother calls back asking if ex-BFF wasn't in school that day. I of course play it like, "no, I thought she was sick..." and on her request give her all the phone numbers of her new popular friends. A short while later I get another call from ex-BFF crying and telling me that she'd skipped school and that she was sorry and was now grounded. That was pretty much the last time we spoke. I am still kind of proud of how devious 13-year old me was 😬

When I quit one job, I usually poach my coworkers and took them to my next job. The first time was when I quit working at Alberston's because of a strike to working at Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt. It was such an easy job by comparison that I talked my fellow courtesy clerks (baggers) to come with me. Then, when that boss started getting rude when asked about giving employees raises, I left for my first insurance job. Afterwards, I went back and poached the most polite and intelligent coworkers and helped them get insurance jobs at my office. This time, I got $1,000 bonuses for each employee I successfully recruited.

Had a highschool "friend" in show choir. (In indiana show choir is a HUGE thing) Ours was different, we wouldn't compete but we would preform a lot publicly. Downtown festivals, elementary schools, even companies would rent us out for Christmas parties... as well as quarterly performances at school. Well the first one, the "fall preview" had a special twist. If we [students] could get together our own groups we could preform it. "Friend" says 'hey, be in my barbershop quartet with me and another two guys' Being new to show choir I was super pumped to be in a group. When it comes time to announce the groups, everyone else names theirs, friend then says "a group with bill, bob, bart, and me" It took me a minute to realize "friend" put me on as a cruel joke. I was the only one not in a mini group. Fast forward to the performance: they bomb, they crash, it FAILS. They sound terrible. (remember how show choir is a big deal?) Our school has a superb music program which just made the performance all the worse. It was beautiful. THEN "friend is in a group of guys five months later at Solo and Ensemble (where you sing in a solo or ensemble) "friend" is complaining about this girl who moved from Japan and is also my best friend. He says all these nasty things about her when I realize what she's singing that day... a barbershop quartet I blurt, "at least she can sing a barbershop quartet on key." It got very quiet. Edit: For the untrained musical ear, a barbershop quartet is incredibly difficult to sing decently, much less well

Had a very recent one in fact. TLDR: Idiot kid wouldn't quit treating our road like a race track, his parents are making him sell his car. So this idiot has a junker Mitsubishi with a fart can exhaust. Every day he would fly down the county road near our house doing about 100 MPH. Every evening he would tear up the driveways and road entrances along the same road by doing burnouts and cookies. Sometimes as late as 3:00 am. Neighbors and I were getting sick of it and wanted to warn him off ourselves but could never catch him except when he was flying by. So I put game cameras up at the entrance to our road which is owned by a private road association. Sure enough, pics and videos of his antics so we called the police. Explained it would cost about $1,000 to have a dozer come in and fix the ruts. However, we wouldn't press charges or ask for compensation if the police could solce the problem. We haven't seen or heard the car in a week. That is, until this afternoon. Found an ad on Craigslist with the car up for sale. With a little digging figured out he had a real come to Jesus talk with the cops followed by his parents making him sell the car. Apparently this isn't the first offense his parents found out about.

Had a boyfriend living with me. I was 24 Had a friend who was about 18 kicked out by her parents. So i put her up on my Sofa until she could figure things out. Like get a job money and place to live. I was working graveyards. Felt sick at work called boss he came in early and sent me home. So I came home about 2 hours early. I walk in not wanting to wake anyone. Place just light enough I didnt need to turn lights on from front window and my bedroom had a sliding door went into my patio. It was small efficiency. Living room kitchenette then bedroom bathroom and walk in closet. So I go in. She wasnt on the sofa. Thought she was hanging with friends she went with before I left for work. Went into my bedroom and oh what a freaking fantastic site. Her and what used to be my boyfriend n turned out to be my sperm donor were getting to know each other beyond Biblically. So busy in fact they didnt even notice me. Dont know what pissed me off more if it was my BF or my bed and brand new sheets and bedding or the fact it was in the apartment in my name that I paid for. Trust me I got an eye full cause they didnt even close curtains on back door. I managed not to go for a weapon I just flipped the light on told them they had 10 minutes to get dressed strip my bed n get the eff out of my apartment. I was going to go walking around the block be gone before I got back. Told them I would let them get their crap later take what they could of their stuff and go. I go for the walk come back they are gone. Load bedding in a garbage bag and put old stuff on the bed. I made them leave the spare keys befor they left so they couldnt come back at will. Next night went back to work. That night a guy I knew from an MC had just gotten out if jail. He needed food and cigs but was short on money so I paid for it. I knew he would pay me back and he did. The MC tended to watch out for me and they owned the building my store was in plus laundromat next door. So this guy goes girl you look like you just lost your joy for living. Just told him I was POed. He finally got me to tell him everything that happened. He leaves few minutes later bunch of MC come in asking questions. It wasnt just cause i worked for the store they had my back. My uncle ran with them and my Dad served in Nam and Korea with couple of them. So I was like a kid sister. The MC Prez was not happy about it or my being used by the 18 y.o. asked me what I wanted done if I could have it done. I said I wanted some one to beat the crap out of the BF and shove the biggest boot they could up his rectum. There were a lot of curse words involved telling them this. The girl have a train pulled on her and nair her bald from head to toe. At time i was blowing off steam. Didn't know where either had gone. Few days later the Sperm Donor showed up beat to hell and walking funny. Tried to tell me he had gotten in a bar fight and won. Took everything in me not to bust out laughing. He wanted to know if he could come back I said no and long n short it ended badly. Few weeks later I am shopping in grocery store and I run into my ex friends sister. She proceeds to tell me how her sister prostituted herself out to a bunch of guys at a fleabag motel and then while in the shower she mistook bottle of nair for 3 in one bath soap shampoo and cream rince. She had put it every where even in the privates before she started screaming. She had chemical burns from head to crotch and rear. Her hair cane out in chunks to point they shaved it. She even lost her eyebrows. She still kept her eye sight it did not get there but she lost some lashes. She had burns on and in her ears and nose. She wound up in hospital then psych ward for few days. What I learned from this. Sometimes people get what they deserve. And never talk to anyone in an MC when I am pissed hurt or angry.

My best revenge was in the military. One of our E-7s would harass juniors until they would answer and then write the junior up. One night on duty this E-7 was running late for Watch and came into berthing and dropped security keys on my rack without verifying I was awake and certainly without signing for the keys. This was 2345 and he was already late relieving the watch. The next morning I had to pass the keys off to do morning report and the the E-7 came to me to get the keys. I told him that I didn’t have the keys and asked when did he give me the keys. When he finally realized how I was yanking his chain he started swearing at me and I smiled. I wrote him up on “provoking speeches and gestures “. I turned the write up to my supervisor and told him to get the E-7 off my case or the report would go in. The real threat was that the executive officer would have ask me what was going on and I would have explained about the keys and the E-7 would have, if he was lucky, been allowed to request an administrative discharge with no chance of retirement. If not lucky 2-5 years in a Federal Penitentiary. No, I won’t tell what those keys were for because even though I left active duty many years ago it could still bite me.

Petty Revenge is the best revenge, But ruining an important birthday party after so much money was spent in it is crossing a line. If your victim loses money because of your revenge, I don't think it's worth it
