UPGRADE Radiator Replacement w/ New Thermostat & Coolant Flush // D22 Navara

Hey Everyone!
Today I'm swapping out out my factory (and rather clogged up) radiator for a larger capacity aluminium radiator. I've been sitting on this radiator for nearly 3 years so I decided it's finally time to put it in!
I've also replaced the thermostat and radiator hoses and have completed a coolant flush to eliminate the nasties before putting them through the new radiator.
To help me with the install I had my good mate, Mick, helping me with the process to lend some guidance and experienced hands. Huge thanks for helping me out, mate!

Here in Brazil, the navara (frontier) d22 uses MWM 2.8 sprinter TDI engine. Its a super reliable unit

@@ap4x4 in Brazil we had multiple cars , trucks and busses using it. Is easy to find one to sell. Chevrolet S10 from 2002 to 2011. Frontier and xterra 2002 to 2007. Agrale marrua, Troller T4. Volaris, and VW 8/140. Mechanich injection and electronic injection also

I did this a couple months ago to my 22 but I also did the water pump, fan viscus hub and new belts just as preventative maintenance. ECT's are down significantly.

@@ap4x4 sits at 80-81 degrees just cruising around, the max I see is 87 when getting into it.

What brand radiator are you running? And do know what would cause the radiator to be empty and the reservoirs to be full?

No idea, probably eBay spec! Bought it from a fella who'd never installed it. I'm lead to believe it's branded 'ASI'.

I bought it from a bloke whod bought it and sold his nav before fitment but I'm told its an ASI. Hit and miss reviews but i hot it cheap and it was time for a new one 🤷‍♂️

Honestly, I blew out the MAF sensor and she was back to normal 🤷 I'm happy with that hahaha
