Upgrade Strategy - Inner Father (Inner Owl) - Sekiro GotY Edition

Full Strategy below in description. (NG7+, Charmless, Demon Bell, Reflections of Strength)
Hello everyone, this my completed Strategy for the Inner Owl Until now. If you have any question or advise, please let's me know in comment. Thank you!
Requirement for this Strategy:
1. Ceremonial Tanto: Yeah, a lot of spirit emblem will be use in this method.
2. Yashariku's Sugar/Spirit fall: Strengthen Attack power
3. Dragon Flash: Highly recommend
4. Shuzaku Lotus Umbrella (Must): This prosthetic tool very important in this figh, i will let you now why in the how to fight section bellow
5. Any kind of Shuriken or anything you can throw to Owl
How to fight:
First thing i must note to you before you begin this battle, If you don't know when to thrust NEVER USING any kind of thrust to him or you will die. Owl was a legendary shinobi so anything you know, he know. And Yes, he can mikiri counter your thrust too.
In my opinion he was the hardest boss until now. I have some thing that will be useful for you:
1. Any experience from the normal Father fight can be use BUT DON'T greedy when you attack him, You must stop any action immediately when you see he use mist raven
2. When he kick and jump back, change shuriken to force him attack and prevent him recover posture then change to umbrella to deflect (Maybe hard but we will controlling him.
3. Wait 0,5 second before deflect when he use mist raven to side and beware he can use mist rave like that 5 times in a row
4. Anytime he use sweep attack that the perfect time to release a dragon flash
5. Focus on his action before he attack, if he ran then attack be careful he would do more attack after
6. At phase 2 he was 2 more mist raven combo that make him a hardest boss in this version. There are no way to try your lucky here, you need concentrate to deflect it
Combo 1: Run and slice - shuriken -- strong attack from the air
Combo 2: Double slash -- Whirlwind Slash -- Strong attack
7. The fire owl not only sweep but also thrust so be careful, you can dash forward to dodge it or deflect with Shuzaku lotus Umbrella
Repeat Until the end ^_^

I know I’m saying this comment after a year of the release of the video but god damn. I wish I was as good as you. I just fought inner father and I need to train against him in reflection for a bit. This video is just helping me get better and know what the pros are doing in certain situations. I personally won’t be doing some of the things you did since I’m not as good and I don’t block perfectly like you but I’ll manage. When first trying the boss I took it like normal fight with father until I realized he used feathers more often than the normal father. Which I’m not used to. Anyways, great video master ninja.

Very nice! Is Flash better than Cross in this scenario? When I was testing against mooks I found that flash > cross when charged, but uncharged you get more damage out of cross. Unless of course you're at range :P. Or hitting an airborne enemy for that extra posture. Cross pulls ahead even further if you're using confetti/living force.

First, thank you for watching. In my opinion, Dragon flast is betther in that scenario, due to the way we use it. With Flash when i mid air combat art, the flash instant releast when i landing, help me save more time to focus next action. With cross we need hold and release button to release the combat art, so we will need more time, and more dangerous in this fight :D

I've never played with a controller, so I'm not very sure. I've always just used the default keyboard settings when playing on a PC.

Whats so good about the umbrella? Any attack you can deflect with it tou can also deflect with the sword. Really don't understand why is it a must (and the video description doesnt really make it clear)

Hey bro how do you get the proper timing on deflecting after owl dissappear using the mist raven

Ah actually i don’t timing or something. When owl disappear there still one thing doesn’t, that is the ⚪️ white dot target. We just need to focus to the movement of the white dot, when it nearly stop moving, that’s the time we press deflect. This is my method ^_^

It’s a COMPLETELY different fight with Charmless + demon bell with no cheesy prosthetics or buffs lmaooo. You’re looking at 4-5 mins at least which is wayyyy harder. This is essentially cheesing him may as well just use empowered mortal draw at this point
