Great job. No matter what this lens is quite revolutionary based on size, being an actual lens, and anamorphic. The most unique aspect about the 2x stuff (including to some extent SLR Magic adapters) is the combined waterfall bokeh, curvature, and imperfect 3D like bokeh. I’ve seen it on this lens in some footage but not all (but that’s not the lens fault for being a 1.33x)

What size Torx screwdriver was used for disassembly? T6 is too big, T5 fits but seems slightly loose. Despite my carefulness I Wound up partially stripping two out of the four screws only to discover they have blue threadlocker applied to them. 😞 I have reason to believe they're T5.5 which is a rare size but are common on macbook security screws. just ordered a set on amazon that has t5.5 . hopefully i can still extract them. 🤞 I wanted to rotate the mount on my Sirui 50mm so i can shoot portrait/vertical anamorphic.

I just noticed that when you removed the lens mount, it was 4 simple screws. It seems like you can just search for an EF replacement lens mount, possibly drill matching holes or something. @@AnamorphicOnABudget I see, I must of missed that part in your previous video. Not a concern for me, as I ordered the Fuji x-mount version. But had hopeful thinking for those who want an EF mount. Pretty much Sirui has to engineer the rear section for the EF. Thanks again!

This lens is 1 step forward two steps back. Why would you make an aps-c lens with no ef mount... I have an a7s ii. So the fact that there's e-mount but no full frame... Why would I want that? Huge hole in the market. It's like they designed for the bmpcc4k and nothing else of significance. I would have to use clear image zoom and basically turn this thing into an 75mm. I hope they make some changes before they come out with a full line.
