It is hard to troubleshoot over the internet (too many variables). If you are local, stop by the shop our tech will take a look...regardless steering should go in ch#1

Try Protek, but it depends on the servo and the setup. We changed to aftermarket servo and this is why we put a metal arm on it.

@Rcstreetshop4 жыл бұрын
Upgrades are usually not a direct replacement for your OEM parts, so sometimes you'll need to adjust it afterward. Try to change your trim settings first, before you do bellcranks
@rattlehead72814 жыл бұрын
Check your servo. Take off the servo horn and turn the truck on and put the trim to center. Then put your servo horn back on.

I see you have strc aluminum shock towers . Do those perform well? I heard that people have issues with the screws falling out. Could you kinda help me out because I'm deciding weather or not on getting them. By the way I have a traxxas slash 2wd.
@Rcstreetshop7 жыл бұрын
STRC make these towers out of really good alloy....and its does its job really good. Just like any other aftermarket part it has a little different fitting other then original Traxxas. Use loctite or any other thread locker your bolts will stay secure.
@bludude417 жыл бұрын
The rear shock tower on my Traxxas Stampede 2WD is STRC, and it has come loose on its mounts twice now. I'm gonna put some blue locktite on the threads when i get around to re-tightening em if that doesnt work i might get a plastic RPM shock tower

So I'm popping servo savers left and right. Bought the Vxl rustler on March 8th and I'm on my 4th saver. Will the savox upgrade stop this? Or am I just going to start replacing my entire servo? I like to run it fast and do quick turns, doughnuts, then speed off again. What do you think?
@gcode946 жыл бұрын
daniel walker Uuuuumm Daniel if you're asking me about your servo saver, I have no idea what you should do being that I've never driven your truck nor do I own a Savox servo. I asked about a particular tool so I have the slightest idea why you would reply to my comment asking about your servo or servo saver.

What I’m wondering is if the servo horn had to be modified?
@Rcstreetshop5 жыл бұрын
Traxxas servos use special spacer between servo itself and a horn. Aftermarket servos do not need spacers (if you use both aftermarket servo and horn), however if you use traxxas servo horn then you would need traxxas spacer. Horns and Servos may have different tooth count. Make sure they match and everything should be good.

I have a question I have a rustler with the SCT Castle Creations Sidewinder motor and ESC combination 3800 KV motor what size pinion gear should I use and I want to change the slipper clutch on this car what product you suggest I change it with and do you have a part number thank you
@Rcstreetshop7 жыл бұрын
It actually depends on your battery plus a lot of small things like what tires do yo use, where do you play (dirt, clay, pavement etc), what is your esc/motor temperature? We usually suggest to run recommended (check manual) gear mesh, before trying something super tall etc. Plus, what would you like to do with it (speed runs, bashing or something else)?
@tonytighttucker7 жыл бұрын
RC Street Shop just bashing
@Rcstreetshop7 жыл бұрын
To be a bit more specific, I need to know a bit more about your setup. In general, if you do not constantly break anything and your ESC/motor are no scorching hot, then I would recommend to keep your existing setup. If you want to make it a bit more enthusiastic then gear it up a bit ( 2 teeth up should be fine...)
