UPDATE: 2M responded after posting this video and they were kind enough to give me a small refund to replace the VBand Clamp even though clamps are not part of the lifetime warranty. I just got my 2024 C8 back today with this same catback exhaust from 2mfabrication. Drop it off yesterday. They called me back before noon today and said it was ready. They said it was only a 6 hour job. No fitment issues or anything else. I’m very pleased with this exhaust system. Love the sound. Saved $1000 compared the $2000 paragon or $3000 AWE exhaust I probably would’ve purchased if I hadn’t seen your videos of the 2m exhaust. Can’t beat it for the price!

I installed an eventuri intake and a solar performance ported throttle body and the solar performance controller. It turned the C8 into a different animal. It is unreal the difference in throttle response. That is a mod that works!

I've had my 2m muffler for 2 weeks now. And I seen all your videos. And yes this is by far the best exhuaust for the c8!! I cannot express how good it sounds especially if you know how to downshift and make it go pop . It makes the car sound less like a muscle car and more exotic/race car tones. You get a bang for your buck! Plus other don't sound as goood as this. This sound is loud enough and really clean,not obnoxious at all

Thanks, I bought a 2024 Vette and will put this exhaust on. I like your video, unlike many of the Vette shill videos, where they recommend an exhaust because they got them for free, you bought the dam thing with your own money and put it on. From the video the fit and finish looked great. The sound was very good. For a tad over 1K Ill take a flier.

Just installed and performed cold start. Sounds great and no CEL! Videos don't come close to the sound even with bose or Sony headphones. Had narrowed list to AWE and Paragon touring, then found your video. Went together well, used your video and paragon's, no issues other than 3 tough nuts on the car itself. Beginning reassembly....

I'm happy to hear that. I too was considering AWE and Paragon but wanted to give 2M a try and no regrets. The only downside to the 2M fabrication exhaust is that you will always want to drive in Track mode and manual! I hardly drove in track or manual before exhaust, now I just want to drive to hear this exhaust. Would love to hear about your buying experience and driving experience when you have it on the road. Cant thank you enough for making and posting this video. I would not have purchased the 2m fab cat back for my C8 if I hadnt seen this video. Im almost done with my install, but the hardware that comes with the provided clamps is junk. Possibly the clamps too. Ive got to buy some hardware locally. It appears the Vband clamps keep the exhaust in the hangers. Again, install has gone perfect except the Vband clamps.

Got the car fired up today. Cold start is rowdy. I used steel bolts and nuts from the hardware store on the provided V clamps. Now in process of putting the car back together. Cant wait to drive it.

3:30 where do you put the jack stand? I've been asking people where to put stands and all I got was "the jacking points are the only approved point to lift the car" over and over again... people will jack the rear up high and put a flat-top stand on the front but I don't have flat tops...

The clamp make is Evil Energy which is I found on Amazon, it's a bit more heavy duty. No heat issues, the deflector feels warm to touch but not hot, I have no concerns of heat damage to the bumper. This exhaust sounds amazing and for price cant be beat. Thank you for watching. Will make more videos on this exhaust

It's normal for exhaust to make clicking noises after you turn off engine , it's just the metals contacting....I havent noticed any such noises on.mine .

There's a half inch gap, the plastic gets a little warm but will never be damaged. I have no heat issues with this exhaust, even after aggressive driving

I'm not a welder but I think the heat changes the color of stainless steel, extreme heat results in blue hue and it's normal after heat cycles to turn gold

No it does not retain the AFM and NPP function. This exhaust is 'on' all the time. My stock exhaust did not have NPP so I needed just one pair of simulators as to avoid check engine light. No drone at high speeds on highway and I can barely tell the difference in sound from 8 to 4 cylinders while cruising on the highway. The only drone I hear is slow speeds like 20 mph and in 4 cyl eco mode. I don't experience any cabin drone when driving , especially in track mode.

4/10 for difficulty. It took me 8 hours total but that's with me working alone and working with the camera for footage. If I were to do it all over again I would still do it myself. It's not complicated at all and there are alot of instructional videos to follow. Save your money, do it yourself and put that money towards other mods!

​@Howdy762 is true, and the foam chair I used worked perfectly for resting the bumper. Hardest part of install for me was loosening the nuts on the bottom , next time I would get a 2 foot extension and loosen them from the rear instead of from underneath the car.

Saw and considered 2M Fabrication for my C8. Then noticed a vendor on eBay selling an EXACT copy of this for $950 with 4 different tip options and free shipping. Some tips had the carbon fiber overlays. Only reason I didn't buy was because I would have to buy my own AFM/NPP simulators elsewhere, and the cost about $100/2 or $200/4. Had the same stainless steel T304 build and looks like the same welds. Had the same resonators built in. eBay charges taxes nationwide now 😞, so the all up costs came out to be about the same as 2M, but had better exhaust tip options. I ultimately chose another brand, MBRP because they take the exhaust downpipes and connect to the top side of the X pipe, and that give super wide clearance compared to the 2M with runs finger width close to the frame cross member and that lower under tray panel. Some people had vibration issues when they accidentally overlooked that tight closeness and their installation touched these pieces. I didn't want any chance of that. Obviously, with close attention you can avoid this. This is a tempting option for sure. The reported lack of customer care also caused me pause. Their website kinda offends you even in their FAQ page, where they say something kinda smarta$$ about being busy manufacturing rather than being on the phone, as I recall? Anyways, I posted on Corvette Forum some weeks ago that this has to be the manufacturer of the Paragon Touring Exhaust in my opinion. 👍🏽

hmmmm does anyone kow if the welds were back gased? lol how many weld joints are there? maybe the guy making this system was smoking a joint as he cut it up? At BEST, this is a poor prototype system. Maybe the reason it cost HALF as much is because they used scrap ubends- ( they no my bends- they your bends) I bet $50 NONE OF THOSE WELDS WERE BACK GASSED.
