I don't see why they can't put the battery on the vertical wall of part that sticks inside the car, then you only need to lift the weather strip to get to the batteries.

How durable and strong is the finish, holding up to normal wear from scratching on the carbon fiber and the other two finishes? Ya, Red or other colors lit would be nice as an option!!!

This particular version is shinny, so it may show some scratches over time. The CF version I had on my other car was great even after extensive use. Thank you and yes I have provided that feedback about changes in colors.

The real question is: did the batteries really last a couple of years or it’s a couple of months?

@@CapitanHarlockisback My model 3 ones lasted a little more than 2 years. It was basically the same product and same batteries. Ofcourse they could have changed the electronics inside so the battery draw could be higher on these but I doubt it. Thank you.
