Hey everyone! Back in my own Scrap Mechanic Survival world again and today I decided to finally get the houseboat in working order! I invited @kANGaming into my world to help solve the boat's steering issue after I completely rebuilt the houseboat to be lighter and thus be easier to move and maneuver. There is indeed a way to siphon fuel into a fuel container, I have it on my aircraft carrier in my own world. 1. Get a craft bot 2. Connect a chest in its input 3. Connect a fuel container in its output 4. Set the craft bot to craft fuel. 5. Remember that you actually need 2 craft bots per 5 thrusters 6. Remember that this is a bad idea 7. Do it anyway cuz you can have it run for 1 hour straight 8. Try to convince kosmo by mentioning that he had indeed experienced the same mechanic in his gas station in coop survival 9. Hope he reads this comment

Can you use a vacuum pump on gas containers? If so, couldn't we just have a chest full of gas, spitting it directly into an intake pump on a gas container? I think I just found today's experiment.

You should build a “guest door” where when you invite someone to your single player world they walk through the door like a guest on a tv show

if you put clusters of 4 at the back and 1 cluster of 4 at the front under it will turn almost in place and if you put 6 more fuel containers on top of the others you can hookup 1 to ech thruster you can go twice as far. have a good day:)

Cargo boats often have a maneuver set of engines up front. Either a rotating set of toward thrusters or thrusters pointed outward. If you want to add those so it takes less time turning. If they're under the water you could maybe even try pointing them down to lift the ship out of the water like the speedboat XD.

I remember you mentioning that you might try out doing a modded run, and you already know about fants mod. Did you know that he added that thing you and Kan keep mentioning would be cool if it were in the game? Specifically, he added exo suits for the character. Two types, speed or armor.

You should try adjusting the bearing settings. Fastest and biggest angle. Or put some thrusters at the front to stop the strafe.

I have noticed in my game that the suspension turning on large objects works better in motion. So your suspension steering may have worked fine if you tried it when moving. I have a large voat as well that only turns once i get moving using suspension.

put your fuel canisters right behind the craftbot output and use chests full of raw oil from your gas station to feed it. that way you never have to move fuel manually. also you could use exactly the amount of fuel canisters so if you put 1 chest of full of oil in your crafting chain and let the bot loop the fuel production it will exactly fill all fuel canisters

Put two smaller sets is suspension glitch. One closer to the front and the other closer to the rear and put the in opposite directions and it should work. It worked for me

isn't the angle of the bearings what determines the strength of glitch steering and not how high you set the suspensions? Also can you connect a pump on suck to a gas tank? then you could set a second pump next to that and connect it to a chain of chest to sort of "pump" the gas?

I'm going to go ahead and save you the trouble of trying the giant truck on the bottom of the ocean to tow the houseboat it doesn't work I made a underwater train that had six or eight I can't remember of the reactor coil Wheels single bearing controller powered and a big Long leash that went up to my house boat it did not work it was not a fun time you should try it

The devs really made sure we can't make a ship with those thrusters. Boat or small flying vehicles is fine but anything bigger is fuel guzzling impossible. Mobile base on wheels is the only thing allowed.
