No matter on the screen size but the CPU has to be an i7 gen had many issues with i5.

😄 'now' they only come with 1 RAM slot?? That was the case already in your previous 7280 review where you happily mentioned to 'just add more memory' in the easy to access location 🤔😜(while also using a pic of the 7480 with two RAM slots to point out other things).

Not sure, but from my research on the Dell forums describes people have been doing this update Dell 7280 1366x768 to FHD. I can't give you a good answer because I haven't try this and not planning to make this happened sorry .

No the CPU is soder into the motherboard and you will need to reprogram the bios that is impossible to do.

Turn off Computer and Restart. Turn off the computer and disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet. Remove the computer cover. Locate the 2-pin password connector (PSWD) on the system board. Remove the 2-pin jumper plug. Locate the 2-pin CMOS jumper (RTCRST) on the system board. Move the 2-pin jumper plug from the password jumper to pins into the CMOS jumper. Plug in AC power to the system and wait ten seconds for the CMOS to clear. Move the 2-pin jumper plug back to the password jumper. Replace the computer cover. Connect your computer and devices to electrical outlets, and turn them on.

Disconnect the system from external power source, and remove the main battery of the laptop. Remove the computer cover and locate the CMOS coin cell battery (Figures 2: Desktop or 3: Laptop). Remove or disconnect the coin cell battery. Press the power button for at least 10 seconds to drain all residual power from the system. Re-insert or re-connect the coin cell battery. Assemble the unit and verify functionality. When the system is powered on, it will warn that the date and time is not set, indicating a successful reset.

It can be configured to be Thunderbolt at the time of purchase from Dell. If you are buying used/refurbished, make sure it is Thunderbolt. I have this laptop and the USB-C port is Thunderbolt.
