Nice upgrades. My CGC 4.5 Daredevil #1 also has similar indentations at the top and bottom of the back cover. I think they were caused by string tying together a stack of comics with mine being at the bottom. I've owned it since 2015 and am thinking of getting it pressed and regraded.

I think you definitely have potential for a grade bump. But I’m not sure if CCS would get the job done correctly on that one. That’s going to require some extra love and humidity to properly kill those bends. It’s a conundrum, because you would lose the witness status of the book by sending it to a third-party presser like myself. You could always resubmit it to CBCS afterwards. But with a book that valuable, you’re looking at a slight value dip just by the fact that it’s in a CBCS slab. Which I wish wasn’t the truth, because I do respect their grading for the most part. In my opinion, try your luck with CCS first, and see if you get any results. If not, just leave the book as is because it’s epic either way.

Do you press your books? I upgraded a 5.5 to a 8.0 Hulk 181 and a ASM 129 6.0 to a 8.5 with a press and clean. The cash that you got was awesome tho !! Good job bro.

From my understanding, signatures that have been signed with permanent marker and dried are safe to press without harming the book. 👍
