I have themed my Mint 21.3 on Mac os theme. If I upgrade to 22 will it overwrite my theme? Thanks for sharing this video

I had installed a full version of the newer version of LibreOffice and running this upgrade will error our and stop after checking foreign packages. It states it is a broken package??? I have 4:24.8.3 installed and it states under foreign packages I need to downgrade back to official versions.. How do I do that?

OK Found it: I ran in another console SUDO APT PURGE LIBREOFFICE* Then I ran CHECK AGAIN, and then selected FIX. That got me past the foreign package issue to Orphan packages.. YES!!!! I am finally progressing!!!!!

For those currently on 21.3, I'm curious if you recommend an upgrade or fresh install?

I'm staying on 21.3 for a while since I don't gain anything noteworthy from upgrading to 22.

I used the 'mintupgrade tool" on one of my PCs and it broke, although I tried to repair it with BootRepair and RepairFilesystem (via "Disks") several times, I eventually did a fresh install of Mint22 on that PC, and then a fresh install on my two laptops. I'd never had an issue with mintupgrade before, but this time was a failure for me. A fresh install is much faster, but the upgrade keeps all your apps and settings. I love Linux Mint, and I've used it since 19.3.

I am always for the clean install. Having said that i am a distro hopper so i like setting up and installing fresh systems.

Now I wanna downgrade Mint 22 to 21.3 .. plz help.. 'cuz v22 doesn't support my old graphic card.. and it affects my display resolution which doesn't look nice ... 🤮.. plz help to downgrade my OS without loosing any data .. give me tips ... anyone or video link.. plz help.
