Brilliant video as always. yes I remember this build :)) You can also upgrade the CPU to a 9th gen CPU if you have one in stock and not in use. Also run a BIOS/UEFI and ME update to the latest one and in stages since the one on it is dated 2019/07/15 for better performance.

Thanks Kathrin 🙂 Actually, I did update the BIOS before I did anything else once I saw how old it was, but forgot to mention that since I did it several days before I started creating the video. Unfortunately I do not have an extra i9-9900K amongst my parts.

@@PE4Doers Does not even need to be a 9900K since the H370 Board ca not support OC the K CPU is not any way :))

@@KathrinHausermann Thanks Kathrin. I have bought CPU's from Ebay, but it makes me nervous because of some of the credit card security issues they've had in the past. However, I plan on getting a credit card that I can add money to online just before I buy something from a vendor or organization I do not fully trust.

I'm new to the channel and went back to when this computer was built. My first question is are the top and bottom M.2 Slot running at the same speed? As it was a new technology I suppose it could have been?

Actually the M.2 slot is nearest the CPU (the top one) is running slower, nearly half the speed due to the 2-lane limit is has designed into it.

@@PE4Doers This board is older and now they run faster & hotter and most usually the top slot is the optimal choice.... but I thank you for that explanation.
