The new speaker might produce deeper bass but from this video, I sense that the Sony has a warmer and more livelier and more fluid sound, overall better sound quality

Thank you I hate to say it but the boxes are extremely cheap quality but the Skoda speakers have really good bass

Do you happen to know the model of the entire speaker, the one usually on the back of the box? It’s okay if they were missing.

The model number you gave sounds like a woofer or tweeter part number. The Sony model numbers usually start with The letters SS. It is entirely possible that this speaker was not sold on its own, but came with a receiver, and the entire system could have a model. In that case, the speakers may not have a model, and instead a part number. Sony speaker part numbers still start with a 1 and end in an 11 or 21, like what you said.

Nah please put that old driver back inside! Great it sounds better with the new one but.. It's not vintage anymore and old ones had wa better mids
