I had ordered this battery back in December of 2023. The first one had a terrible phantom drain when it was sitting idle. I returned it for a replacement. The second one arrived and had the exact same problem. They both would drain completely if left unattended with nothing attached or plugged in over a few days.

Oh wow! I haven’t experienced this but will have to look out for it. If I had to guess I would say that dealing with this issue must have something to do with why it’s less likely to automatically turn itself on than other packs I have.

How long can this power bank power a 100 watt led light? Compared to a v-mount.
@WesPerryАй бұрын
Basic math would give you 43 minutes, but in the last 15% of the charge it won’t support a full 100 Watts, so closer to 30-35 minutes.

Most v mount batteries at 99 to 160Wh, while this is 72Wh (mine measured over 80 though, but I can’t guarantee that). And also most v mounts will also fail to support full output power when below 20% charge. Not unusual (due to needing to output 20V to get 100W, but this steps down to 12V max when the cells are mostly depleted).

@@WesPerry Thanks! I currently have ZGCine V99 and ZMi "210W" power bank, but, life always demands more 🙂

Yeah I love those v-mount batteries with usb c, but they’re definitely not the most convenient form factor for a lot of stuff lol

We've finally gotten USB A and Lightning out of our lives. We don't want to see those kinds of plugs and cables anymore. Some manufacturers are starting to realize that.

Yeah I’m fine with the layout here. Two c’s for most things. I unfortunately still have some relatively new devices that won’t charge properly from a c connection as they lack handshake chips, and still need to be charged a to c. Bizarre and annoying.
