I search for camping videos to watch, and it's cool to see someone with the set up you've made between truck and trailer. To truly visit the outdoors in tranquility. They sell off packages for campers now and the cost of them seem high. And I don't think that they will not be able to be durable enough to handle long term off roading like a home built cargo trailer. And its cool to see you using the ranger as an atv. They also have a lot of off road packages for trucks now. For example the chevy colorado zr2 has everything for the type of camping you do. But again it's the cost factor. A toyota trd regular off road road package not the pro version in the future would good enough for me with a trailer similar to yours. Great job.

@@TB-dj8kl Thanks… that’s a very nice comment. I’m not into going into debt so it kind of either buy something older and build it or stay home. I see these super tricked out rigs with crazy overland trailers but it’s like the cost of a house that’s out of my league! I kind of like having something a bit different and something that I built myself not just bought. Often times your passing those crazy tricked out rigs because they don’t want to scratch their paint or trailer and so can’t get down to the lake. I like not worrying about that…stress free camping 👌🤙

I just order 2006 ranger power mirrors off Rock Auto they were clearing them out cheap.

They are newer Ranger mirrors… I believe these were off a 2006. If you check my playlist I believe I did a video on the installation.

I’m not sure. I just got these because they were in rock auto clearance. I think they were like 18$ each. I kind of like chrome… I like all my bumpers chrome. Depends on what you want to do with the truck.

Omg I am so dumb! I drilled bigger holes to fit and used big washers to get the mirrors to fit tight. Haha too bad I didn’t see this video three years ago!!!!! I didn’t even realize that’s the only mounting difference.

👍 i did the same and in the middle of a transmission swap to manual waiting on parts. i was wondering about your transfer case shift motor did you swap it to manual as well ?

I actually was able to find one of those rare full manual transfer cases from 2002,2003 I swapped that in. If I had the auto though I’d definitely be looking into making the t-case manual. The last thing I would need would to be out in the bush camping and have my t-case fail…. Long walk out! I’ve seen a few interesting kits but haven’t put the time into researching one.

Is that grey rhino liner for your truck paint?

It’s actually called Raptor Liner it’s a two part paint.

@@RangerShop1 That pretty cool. How expensive is it compared to regular liner? I have seen a few color variations. My truck got rino lined after we had a major hail storm & I am loving it. Said it would be the same cost as regular paint. Don't have to wax it though I am wondering if it has to be conditioned to keep its vibrant color for longer periods of time.

The paint itself is cheap and it’s easy to spray yourself the complete paint for the truck including canopy plus all materials like plastic, sandpaper, thinner, acetone etc cost me about 700$.

Click on 2006 ranger then go to body and lamp then scroll down till you see outside mirror and glass Assembly the scroll down till you see power mirrors they are cheap like around 20$

I much prefer the original mirrors, the other ones are absolutely hideous.

I guess it depends on what you wanted to do with your truck. I found them much to small for towing my trailer.
