I think a merger or a rotary rake would be a good addition. When my dad worked for a dairy and they had end dumps and a harvestore, they had to be a little funny with it. The silos were on a lower level with a forage box parked with it. The truck would dump on the top pad and then the silage was pushed into the box and unloaded. I definitely think a pit would be cool as it’d be more modern.

​@Kederk Farms on green valley nebraska with courseplay and autodrive I had 4 semis unloading Into 3 of the built in fermenting silos and had dual claas jaguars running on one field. It all ran very smooth just make sure you have separate entrance and exits on your fields.

Thanks for the explanation on why you might rake. If you decide on doing something other than the forage harvester you might consider something like the Claas cargos 9500 forage wagon. Ive found picking up with couple of those via couserplay/autodrive makes quick work of the field. Plus Disturbed Simulations did some testing that says the forage wagon yields significantly more than the forage harvester

That certainly would be the easier option they just aren't very common around here. That said you don't usually pickup hay with a forage harvester either so I'm kind of breaking my own realism rules anyway

You should probably get a small wagon for silage so while u are unloading the worker can keep going

LOL, I can appreciate that. While academically I'm a huge fan of the Metric system, having spent several years on a farm during my youth I find it confusing if I don't use the North American based units for things. :)

If you buy silage additive you can get more silage and I believe that there is a small based game merger

I thonk you should get a silage box semi trailer, they are more american than the artex. It also has a side unload area instead of just the back unload. Also a good american merger is a h&s one if you can find one.

More American? I have pulled silage trailers just like he has in Wisconsin for dairy farms. But the pull behind tractor ones are getting extremely common now.

Yes I had to add a new fruit type to the map to support it.

U need the feeding wagon mod from i think its bronkema toys it has a kbot special of 1m liters and all u gotta do is fill it up and park it at ur unload trigger in ur cow barn and it automatically keeps the cow food topped off its on his itchio page and it does work cause i use it lol

I had to modify the map to add the dropped hay as an additional fruit type so that it could be processed by the forage harvester.

I have a question, so my pc has the right stuff and room to fs22 but it won’t down load and I don’t know why it keeps on saying error please restart and try again. It is vary frustrating i would like to play fs22. Please help if you know why.

If you use a Krampe Dolly 10L you can hook it all up to your Forage Harvester. That is how I do it.

I don't know any farmer that buys new equipment for full price cash. It's always loans / payment plans which is why I'm leveraging the lease to own mod. Essentially making payments on the equipment which I will buy out after a few years. Figure 3-5 years financing seems fair.
