I took my DPMS apart and upgraded it. I'll stack it up against anyone's rifle now. I free floated my barrel using a Brownells handguard, am Odin Works tunable stainless gas block, went with a Geissele Airborne charging handle, Geiselle BCG, SSA-E trigger, Magpul MOE+ grip, VG6 Precision Epsilon brake and a Holosun red dot. I have an Aimpoint PRO on another AR, but the Holosun is lighter and has been great thus far. Don't let anyone knock DPMS's 4140 unlined barrel. It may not last as long as a chrome lined milspec barrel, but it's more accurate and will last more than long enough for the average shooter

Let's be honest. The screws and whatnot were pre-loosened for this video. Look at the brake....the threads have no crud on them, they look pristine. The gas block screws came undone and the block slid off easily. That doesn't happen once a few boxes of ammo are put through the rifle. Great video though.
@yrsued3 жыл бұрын
Yes, they were!! We didn't want any surprises, like stripped screws and damaged parts!! Everything was staged for the video, those aluminum gas blocks that shipped with the Oracle were NOT exactly high end and sometimes the threads would strip and even jam shut and you couldn't get the stupid thing out. We prepped the rifle ahead of time. those issues are no longer valid, DPMS doesn't exist at the moment and who knows when or how it will come back. The new owners after the Remington Bankruptcy haven't done a thing with any of the brands they purchased.
