@@wondrous87 how are you going to? What pickups we talking?

I'm also looking into getting the same squier model as you. And the same pick up!!! But I want just the white look with the white pick guard. Later down the like I'll probably put grover saddles and locking turners in it. I love this hobby so much!!! Also amazing work and you killed that song!!

Thank you 🤘🏼 you totally should, it’s always a fun project and you learn a little bit more everytime. What would you do to upgrade it?

I did this to my one, it's great, but the thing that bugged me, was the height of the action using the string through bridge. So I fitted a body through Hardtail. Give that a go, makes for a more comfortable setup. IMO

I thought about that so i might have to give it ago

Hahaha, thanks for putting your soldering nightmare in here. I had the same experience when I rewired a beginner guitar given to me a while ago.
@JordanBallaMusicАй бұрын
Honestly im just trash at soldering, but if i did it again I reckon i could do a better job next time
@deadgcАй бұрын
@@JordanBallaMusic I fully believe you. My first solder job was a double pot delete, replacing the volume with a 2-way missile switch & a momentary killswitch install... I had to rewire like 3 / 4 to try and fix the grounding issues while installing another resistor each time to try and roll of the treble because it was *way* too bright without a tone pot. Still! I love how yours turned out! It sounds great, looks awesome (and comfortable) and those inlay stickers probably add like 50 horsepower ;)

Sweet video man, I've done the same in the past. I put some Seymour Duncans in my LTD M-10 and it is incredible now, yes, the pickps are worth more than the guitar but yeah! The neck felt so good I had to juice it up! Awesome vid man , it looks and sounds awesome! Great upgrade! \m/

Thank you 🤘🏼 pick ups worth more than the guitar is what you want, it means you can throw the guitar around without a worry that it’ll break. Thanks for checking out the video 🤘🏼

Melt some solder onto the tip of the iron and use a little bit of flux on the surface you are soldering to for a much better experience :)

I bought this guitar I ordered the same pickguard . Considering the invader as well , I got all black hardware tho . I’m really on the fence if I should have somebody do the work or I should try it myself . Where did you order the pickguard from . I ordered a custom one from warmoth ; waiting for it to come in the mail .
@JordanBallaMusic6 ай бұрын
With a guitar this cheap I would honestly say, try it yourself, its a good way to learn and if you mess it up, its not too much of a big deal. Its always worth learning these things. I think i bought the scratch plate from some random store on ebay
