Upgrading Vehicles and Equipment, Efficient Oat Harvest | Carpathian Countryside Farm | FS 22 | #08

Welcome back to the Carpathian Countryside Farm Timelapse. First, let's fix the negative balance on our balance sheet. To achieve this, we'll initiate the sale of a slurry tank that won't be necessary in the near future. With that sorted, we'll proceed to rent a truck, which will be used to transport the harvested soybean crop to the designated point of sale at a transport company. By patiently awaiting a favorable market price, we've managed to secure a commendable profit margin.
Upon completion of this successful transaction, we'll conclude the truck rental and move on to a pivotal step-acquiring new trucks essential for our goods delivery operations. Our selections include an IVECO S-Way 480 Semi, accompanied by a capacious 62,000-liter trailer. Additionally, we're procuring a DAF XG+ cargo van. These acquisitions mark a significant enhancement in our ability to transport commodities for sale.
As our operations continue, we're primed to carry out the efficient transport of barley to the mill, followed by the loading of the final bread products into the van, ready for distribution to supermarkets. Alongside these activities, we're effectively marketing compost derived from straw, further diversifying our revenue streams.
With our oats field now primed for harvesting, we're mobilizing our two CASE IH 2588 harvesters to the location. In tandem, we're also advancing our equipment by replacing the VALTRA 8750 tractor model with a VALTRA Q Series model, complemented by the acquisition of an auger trailer to enhance our overall capabilities. Furthermore, an IVECO truck is actively contributing to our field operations.
Subsequent to the successful harvest, our harvesters are carefully returned to the designated parking area. The harvested oats are then methodically transported from the field to our mill, employing a combination of tractor and truck logistics. This operation ensures a seamless transition from the field to further processing.
