Also gear 5 luffy can actually have any ability because it is revealed he never ate the gomu gomu no mi and instead ate the human human fruit model nika giving him the gear 5 form and what ever he imagines comes to reality and he was using Rubber ability’s because he did not know what is could do and he was imagining that his body was rubber and doing that turned him into rubber
