Upgrading Your Sound System on a Budget? Here's how we did it!

In this video, we upgrade the car audio of Project Raize using JBL Club speakers, which is the entry level line of the brand. We've gone this route to minimize our spending and make this as repeatable to every budget-minded car owner out there, so we hope this video helps!
Of course, we brought Project Raize to what we think is the best car audio shop in the Philippines for this job. We've known the guys at JC Car Audio since the early 2000's and just a quick fun fact, we won numerous audio competitions and were crowned champions a few years back in the European Mobile Media Association Championship with our 2015 Subaru WRX thanks to these guys. Whether it's a simple budget friendly audio set up or an championship-winning audio system, they know how to set it up to the best of its abilities.

I have put club 622 in the rear doors but used same wires but sound is very low. I have left original speakers in front. Any suggestions why rear door jbl club 622 giving low volume sound than the front speakers?

I'm not a fan of JBL speakers due to their harsh-sounding mids and highs, which is ironically what they are famous for. The best way to make it sound decent is to cut all the 3 band frequency instead of boosting them. Thats what ive done to our fortuner ltd and it made the speakers much more pleasing to listen to.

How does this compare to the Morel setup in the Jazz? Also, since you guys have had quite a range of audio installs in your cars, etong budget build pasado naman kay uncle Peter? Haha

Yung Jazz before was on Morel's mid range speakers + sound deadening + a high end Pioneer head unit. That set up honestly sounded better due to the head unit's capabilities and higher end speakers. Where this JBL set up shines is the low frequencies due to the subwoofer + you still get to save up on some cash. Pasado naman kay uncle Peter cause he knows this is an entry level set up. A lot better than stock but of course ibang usapan na ang EMMA-winning kind of set up 😁

theoretically any kind of sound deadening material reduces noises vibrations and harshness

Yes, it will work, but you might find the bass to be lacking a bit.

I would suggest subwoofers for the rear doors instead of speakers. There are shop selling 6 inches subs.

Completely disagree with tunog "lata" but this is how to improve your stock audio.. Go to settings, check EQ try custom make a v shape or just click the bass, turn on loudness, and add treble7/12 add bass 9/12. Or adjust to your liking..
