Demonetisation was not done for this. Please do not try to glorify one of the most foolish economic decisions by the BJP government. It was done to do away with black money. And fyi...i we are still in the same old state..if not worse than that w.r.t blackmoney . Our rural economy has still not come out of that shock yet. Digital payments would have become a reality even without demonitiization. It accelerated digital payments. ..but the price we had to pay was too much.

Demonetisation was not done with digital payments in mind.. In fact the BJP wud not even thot about it.. Not just IRCTC. Even Post Offices, RTOs etc do not accept UPI. Seems like govt. organizations did not get the memo.

All this is serious non sense. What digital payments are we talking about, upi or digital payment used to buy ice cream, clothing, pizza, burger etc. What about huge black money in real estate. No one is taking about black money in real estate. Black money has inflated real estate to extent that, it is out of the reach of common man. Control real estate, and prices of all commodities will come down.
