I grew up in the UK, southern England and at 16 in 1988 I was introduced to house music. Small venues, fantastic music, going in as an individual but once inside part of a collective whole of sheer enjoyment. Long gone now, just fading memories but Book Club Radio captures that spirit. 34:11 that’s it, right there, the euphoria. Sure, back then there was drink, drugs but the music came first for me. No aggro, no hassle just everyone having a good time. Thank you Jojo and BCR these videos lift me up.
