Those delay patterns are quite interesting; they're really fast but sound slower with the ducking. It'd be cool to do a tutorial on those.

It’s not as complicated as you think with the delay. But I will keep these ideas in mind.

Take those middle 3rds in those triads and move them up an octave for some classic trance!

I just bought your Serum Trance Essentials Vol 1 and I'm really enjoying it. Do you have a video where you put together a loop or two using this pack? I like that the demo lists the current presets being used but it's hard to know how to use the macros properly or what midi patterns work best for a given preset (mainly the basses).

Hey Dennis. I love your tutorials! Is there any chance you could design a sound close to the stresstest (askew remix) lead?

The off the cuff style video was very inspiring, you should try this more often. Just this week I was contemplating to change how I do my intro plucks and leads. You get stuck in a way of doing things and it can get stale. Well timed

That’s is well timed 😎 I’ve been working on new sounds for spire etc which gave birth to this track. I hope you come up with some new ideas for intro leads and plucks. 👍🏻

@@demishellen Gave me some new ideas to try for future tracks for sure. I make a track every 4-5 days usually so when you are in your mid 300's of full tracks made ideas and ways of working often evolve and change. I forget what I used to do unless I listen to a track made 1-2 years ago. Some of my best tracks were made when I was just starting out. Much more rounded and educated these days but some ideas years ago were better than the ideas I use right now

Simple ideas can evolve quickly into overly complicated ideas especially when trying to refine. I was just talking with a friend and I told him how I have to walk away from an idea for 24 hours so my brain does not overthink the idea I have come up with. I am terrible at the best of times. 😎
