Fr Czuba, the Help Loan is not working for alot of parents struggling in rural areas. You have to secure 75% funds before applying for help loan. So really it is NOT a HELP Loan as it does not help students to register and get into the University and resume studies. Where will parents get the 75% school fees in this very difficult times? People are struggling.

I don't trust HELP Program. What if I don't repay the Loan from HELP Program?

Lets go back to how late Somare supported University and college students in the past. The free education policy needs to be revisited. Let the government support Universities and college students with school fees. Let parents pay for primary and secondary education. Districts can support parents for Secondary students school fees. The reason is simple, hard working stuents who have made it to Universities and colleges are in their final leg of education before they find employment. So they must be supported by the government in order to complete their studies and find a job to support their families. Otherwise, government you are just trying to please everybody. Why should a hard working student withdraw from university or college just because they cannot afford their school fees. Common, it does not make sense. Parents are looking forward to see their children finally graduate and find employment to support them. So government, you are responsible. Dont tell me, its the parents responsibility. we are tax payers and our money must support students achieve their goals to benefit the country at large.

A very fruitful interaction with the students. PM is very highly sensitive and brings himself down to the level if the students. Former PMs when students submitted petitions regarding their management problems of running the country they never came down to the students. Instead students protests resulting in the death of students. The PM's actions are commendable in explaining complex issues to the students at their level. The PM makes his explanations simple with facts and figures. I really enjoyed this interactive approach for meaningful understanding. Thank you PM

JM brought this guy as his sidekick. What a load of BS. Finding jobs on the international market, isn't it brain drain?
