Many is Kozhikode would remember my (late) Grandfather (Prof. Edward Augustus) My dad has told me a lot of the amazing octogenarian especially his humbleness and charismatic smile. My dad said that once at Karipur Airport himself and my grandfather was waiting in the security queue to enter the airport to fly to Ireland / Dublin where we live. At the same time Ahammed Sahaab also came to the entry door but was whisked away and given priority. Ahammed Saheeb stopped the security man and said the person who is standing ahead of me (my Grandfather) is much honored than me why did you move him away. That is simplicity as well as acknowledging others around him. My Dad also said how on numerous occasions he has met Ahammed Sahaab and always used to be called "mone" with a smile. He said that the narration of the "handshake" is very TRUE and it connects each and every single person who ever they would be.....Amazing !!!! A TRUE role model for younger generations to learn and practice ....even far away from Kozhikode Ashwin and Vijayan Maliyakal Edward / Dublin / Ireland

Assallammualaikum Honourable PK Ahammed , Mrs and members of his family.I am Ibrahim and my father , Hj T.K Mohamad {may Allah swt bless his soul } was born here in Kozhikode and he came and settlled in Malacca sometimes before world war 2. I and my 2 sisters from Malaysia came to Khozhikode spmetimes in 1996 with Mr AP Moidu.We visited this honourable genttleman at his house . I was impressed as to how polite and humble he was.After all we were nobody yet he treated us respectfully.ThankYou Honourable Mr PK Ahammed and MRs and his family. May Allah swt bestow good grace and wellbeing till Jannah.

Smiles to everyone he sees around, even if he is seeing them for the first time 2.
