Pressure belt shift to south due to movement of sun rays towards tropic of Capricorn. Not due to winter solstice. Winter solstice is a day on 22 December. It is not a reason for shifting of pressure belt to south. This question's answer is also given wrong. Ncert class 9 chapter 4 climate
