I am 66. I've been doing it three times a week for about a month, and I can actually see results!!! I'm going to start doing it every other day now. This is by far the best upper body workout video for seniors that I've found on the internet. The coach is friendly and personable.

I just started this today. I am 68 with rheumatoid arthritis and interstitial lung disease A babysit my grandchildren almost daily and I need more energy and strength. The little boys are too and still like to be carried and I struggle. We have a new baby coming in November I’m hoping this will help mewith my strength. It was easy and very enjoyable the way the instructor presented thank you so much.

good assortment of exercises....I have a shoulder that doesn't work well, can't raise arm high, some pain and noise in the shoulder...hope this exercise will help. I am 93 yr old female

...however you get used it. After 3 weeks I have noticed an increase in strength, so I've moved from full water bottles to 2.5kg weights

I believe that's because these exercises seem to be mostly for the deltoids. I find that if I take a rest part way it helps my deltoids to recover. And for the lateral flyes, the instructor says to lean forward. I believe that takes the weight a bit off of the deltoids and a little bit on the back muscles. I welcome any discussion.

Thanks for the workout. I enjoyed it. The only reason I won't be coming back to your site is the incredibly annoying and monotonous "music" that underscores the workout. Drove me nuts! But as I said, great workout.

These excercises are very good for old people like me. I am 67 and have had rotator cuff surgery in both shoulders at a gap of 8 years. Now my shoulders and back of shoulder muscles are getting weak. Which ones should I do apart from these? Please Guide

Good exercises, well explained, however, my parents-in-law found the music in the background very distracting, even off-putting. Because you talk over the music to explain the exercises and to motivate, it's not possible to just turn the volume off. Please consider doing some of these exercise videos without the distracting and repetitive sound in the background. Best wishes

The seated upright row is not an advisable exercise to do as the shoulder is elevated and internally rotated during the movement, leaving it prone to injury. The hawkins/Kennedy test infact uses the same principle to test for shoulder impingement.

How many times a week for a 69 man who could lose 15 lbs but is otherwise in good shape? Eating well these days. I really enjoy your workout. I was buff in my youth. Now 4 lb weights seem appropriate. Haven’t lifted for years.

Not the overhead he's doing. It's an old style lift (military press) that isn't ideal for anyone but especially seniors.
