This is truely one of the best paddling videos I’ve seen. Thanks for not putting any music in it. Thanks for posting. You guys rock!

That's probably the most impressive kayaking video I've ever seen in over 30 years of kayaking. and watching kayaking videos.

One of THE best creeks anywhere. Especially at that flow. Beautiful lines.

Now that's incredible technical whitewater! Yikes ! That log at 3:47!! Awesome skill on a raging river! So glad you left it without music - adds so much more! How many times did you get out to scout? Looks like every 100 feet there's a crazy rapid or insane drop. I wish I had discovered this sport before I was 49! I'll never get to that level.

Your boat control is a joy to watch, in every film you post. I’m an intermediate kayaker, wanting to improve more. I’d like to ask a question: what are the top three fundamentals in the sport, for you?

Tim Watson thanks for watching! Something I have always stressed is “create adversity in a controlled environment” and what I mean by that is to go playboating and go run an section you can style the main lines on but choose the hard lines, catch those tiny one boat eddies, all of that will give you the confidence to progress so much. And finally make sure your having fun! 1. Playboat a lot 2. Get creative 3.have fun

How much experience do you need before doing this?
@NikoleHampton4 жыл бұрын
Years. Then on top of that have the courage to know what you are getting yourself into and still sending it. Any one of thoes rapids have the potential to kill you.

Quite a bit. Everything happens much faster than it appears in the video so you have to be a number of moves ahead of where you actually are and it all has to be reflexive. There’s no planning moves in the middle of a rapid. The boat control needed to stay upright in this stuff so you don’t lose pieces of face or suffer head/spinal injuries is more difficult than it looks. These boaters are incredibly skilled.
