Does we need to buff the surface before top coat or not?

Many technicians recommend buffing the nail surface before applying top coat or color to avoid any risk of lifting. However, I never do this, and I’ve never had any issues. I believe it depends on the brand you’re using, so it’s best to test it first.❤️
