Upper Idrija on dry fly fishing Big Marble trout Rainbow Brown Grayling Monster Wonderful

Hi everybody, we are on the upper Idrijca river in Slovenia, reserve managed by the Idrija Fisherman's Family (Ribiska Druzina Idrija in slovenian).
I’m attending this area for many years and I can say that, since I went back to the Idrijca river, I’ve found it in a very good shape!!
It’s a great river, with a very rich of benthic fauna backwater; I can say without any doubt, that it is the typical dry flyfishing river, Absolutely!!!!
When we arrived on the river in the Trophy area, we honestly expected to find the normal fish activity with fish in sight and active, so that we went to the search, trying to spot the fish in a very silent way, possibly without getting into the water. Nevertheless we could not see almost anything until 10 AM.
Providentially a storm has arrived and literally put the fish in “mode on”, stimulating hatches and put every fish in action. But this does not mean that everything has become easier, indeed!
Imperceptible hatches that can be confused with raindrops, very small insects imitated by “cul de canard” emergers on size 20, longer leaders and tippets with very fine nylon and very accurate casts! So everything became more challenging, and when this happens and even you catch fish, so much satisfaction comes!!!
We enjoyed the Idrijca river very much and for sure we’ll be back again very soon, for the management and quality of the waters, for the wonderful and rustic fish, and also for the very friendly welcome reserved to our team!
We can only say that the Idrijca river is the ideal place for those who want to be on selective fish, on size fish, which give satisfaction when you’ve hooked them with your flyfishing rod.
But you don’t have to think it's easy, think about fishing on the river Idrijca with tenacity and concentration!
All the fish in the river Idrijca are natural fish, some of which are also of considerable size. This is thanks to the excellent management of the Idrija Fisherman’s Family, which for years has privileged quality fisheries.
All this thanks to the fact that the Marble trouts naturally spawn in the Idrijca river, but we surprisingly noted that Rainbow trouts also naturally spawn (as we watched and filmed). In fact in the Idijca river you could find also native Raimbow trouts!
The Idrija Fisherman's Family has its own Marble trout hatchery, the fry are placed in small creeks to grown up to 15-25 cm, and finally placed into the Idrijca river! So that in the Idrijca river you could find 100% natural fish!!! A day of fly fishing on Idrijca river for Marble trout Idriza
In this video you can see images of the upper part of the River Idrijca. The fly fisherman only fished in dry fly, given the high propensity of the fish to tick. The fish caught are large marble trout, iridescent, farius and beautiful temples.
The Upper Idrijca River is located in Idrija! In Idrijca high river, Idriza is pronounced in Italian, you can fish big fari trout, big iridescence trouts, beautiful 50cm spores and monstrous marble trouts from how beautiful they are, trout here have a Livrea typical of Marmorata dell'Idrijca. A very productive section is the Trofeo area where you can fish for big marble trout, iridescent trout, trout fief and thistle over 52-55 cm, however, always under 60cm. Almost by chance in a gostilna in the company of Faina fly fisherman of the editorial team of Pipam of the top trophy area of ​​the river Reka Idrijca located in Spodnja Idrija. Una sera ho visto il fiiume trasformarsi in una pentola che bolle , le bollate erano cosi tante che non sapevo dove lanciare. Mi sono seduto ad osservare lo spettacolo, migliaia di bollate. Solo bisogna fare attenzione alla portata d'acqua del fiume, qualcuno ci è affogato.

Suggerisco a chi guarda questo splendido video di fare molta attenzione a due cose: 1. All'insistenza "sospetta" (scherzo) con cui i nostri amici, fra l'altro pescatori eccellenti, sottolineano la difficoltà di entrare in contatto col pesce e l'impegno richiesto. 2. Alla data del video. A metà giugno, stagione d'oro per la mosca, non ho dubbi che l'Idrijca dia a chi se le sa conquistare soddisfazioni come quelle che qui sono testimoniate. Io ci sono stato ad agosto ed è stato uno strazio totale. Spendere quei soldi per vedere un'attività del pesce che è forse un decimo di quella che si vede nello stesso periodo in qualsiasi fiume italiano (quindi già poca!) è una follia.

Ciao Francesco, questa è una tua interpretazione perché il senso del filmato non è assolutamente ciò che scrivi di aver capito. il fiume Idrijca è certamente un fiume difficile ma assolutamente alla portata di altri pescatori. ingredienti richiesti : voglia di andarci e passione per la pesca e la natura, nient'altro !!! Tu ci sei mai stato ? Dove peschi solitamente ? Saluti

Ciao Antonio(?)...ho 64 anni ed i fiumi Sloveni Austriaci Croati Francesiecc. li ho battuti con tanta umilta'.Ho lavorato per Pezon&Mitchel Con Pragliola alla Franchi pesca di Brescia come agente di commercio percio' conosco pescatori ed ambienti. Volevo solo far notare che avete esagerato nel descrivere le "difficolta'" che il fiume presenta.Tutto qui...niente di che. Continuate cosi con i filmati che sono molto belli. Un caro saluto all'ARS tronto che reputo il miglior club di pam in assoluto con il mosca club Treviso.P.S. adesso pesco molto nel libero del Chiese visto che sono di Brescia ed impiego solo mezz'ora ad arrivarci. :):):)

Caro Francesco, ho sorriso leggendo questo tuo intervento. Capisco benissimo lo scrupolo che te lo ha suggerito, ma ti assicuro che vedendo e ascoltando il video da esterno non ho avuto quell'impressione. Tanto più che non è che si vedano poi questi gran lanci che possano dare l'impressione che per pescare in quelle acque si debba essere "bravi come loro" :-D Distanze medie o corte, non c'è un curvo che sia uno, tutti lanci diritti e poi mending a manetta! Scherzo, ovviamente, sto prendendo in giro con affetto gli amici di Pipam. Il video è stupendo e mi ha fatto decidere per la destinazione di quest'estate. Ciao! PS Anch'io sono un devoto di Piller.
