It depends on whether you are Nepali or a foreigner. If you are Nepali, you don't need any permits to travel all the way to the China border. However, if you are a foreigner, you will need a permit, but I have no idea about the details. Sorry.Thank for watching my videos 🙏🙏❤️

We stayed at Hotel Mandala, which was quite good with comfortable beds. There is also a cheap hotel and a homestay inside the King's Palace area. You can stay inside the King's Palace area as well.

Where was the police check point and what did they ask? Is it possible to go solo on a motorbike behind this point as a foreigner ? How many hours from Jomsom to Lowmanthang?

"The police checkpoint was at Chusang Village, and they asked for your bike's registration, license, contact number, and information about drone cameras. If you're traveling solo on a motorcycle as a foreigner, it's best to consult with TAAN(Kathmandu,Pokara) while obtaining the permit. By motorbike, the journey may take around 7-9 hours,but the actual time could differ.
