Fun day before the blizzard hit on the Upper Owens. We fished above the bridge off Benton Crossing Road. We drove up by Holy Hole and the hole and above it.
Caught fish Euro Nymphing a paragon that was purple with a green head that are tied by Steve at Sierra Trout Magnet.
Caught the others under an indicator on some otter eggs (green and pink) above a hook.

His gill got caught in the net and I did not want to rip her out. I have never had that happen before and was trying to get her back in the water and not destroy her gills. It was very odd in that type of rubber net. The piece of the mouth that attaches to the gill at the bottom end was twisted in the net. I hated how long she was out but she swam off well after reviving for a bit.

I am a little upset that you kept the fish out of water so long. One of them didn't look he would survive after you finally released him. Common sense is you hold your breath while the fish is out of water and when you need to breath so do they.

I hear you and appreciate the feedback. I was dealing with either ripping his gill out to get him out of the net or try and work him free. I chose to work him free the best I could.
