Uppercut Deluxe Welcomes Jimmy Morrison

Beginning his day on a 6:15am train. Home by 11pm that evening. Ballarat to South Yarra. South Yarra to Prahran. Three trains in total, one way. Then back again. Six days a week. The formative years for Jimmy Morrison’s barbering apprenticeship consisted of up to 30 hours in weekly commuting, many hard knocks and a helluva lot of determination.
Fast forward a decade later and Jimmy has cemented himself as one of Australia’s most well-respected barbers, an anchor to the Victorian community of Ballarat and the proud owner of ‘Jimmy’s Barbershop’ - located inside an ornate, heritage-listed building situated in the heart of Ballarat’s main street. A true testament to sticking it out for the long haul. Hard work paying off. The Uppercut way!
Both a family man, powerhouse and yet also a gentleman who’s highly skilled in his craft; we’re proud to be able to finally introduce the world to Jimmy Morrison.
