At the end of Midst, I thought we'd seen the interesting ideas this cosmos had to offer. I'm still amazed how wrong I was.

I am seriously worried about that harmony. I hope nothing bad comes out of it. The narrators, of course would just point it out if it wasn't such a beautiful harmony and nothing bad will happen with it in the future.

Yeah after watching moonward it makes sense. They already found the remaining pieces of the moon in the fold and noticed it had weird properties. So over the course of the 30 years since then they would've studied said properties and tested its capabilities and were like "we can build a moving vessel out of it and for it to fit the large crew we have for it the dark mica pieces of the moon already exist, so they just... carved it into a liveable operational space and the creation of the foldlight helps to maybe control it. That's what i understand from this and previous episodes.
