Uproot Root Puller

UPROOT Root and stump lifter,NO GRINDING INVOLVED!
Showing three diferent lifting jobs. A multi trunk Cypress, a small pear tree which had extensive roots! And a concrete fence post, which had a much larger than usual chunk of concrete on the bottom! Fifteen such posts were lifted in one afternoon.

Very impressive. A stump grinder leaves most of the stump in the ground...your puller completely removes it. And easily too.

thats a very old way of lifting . like an a frame that transfers lifting power from horizontal to vertical power . ive used it to lift 1 metre diameter stumps .but if u pull a frame past vertical (upright ) it topples over the other way of course . if in the way ,not good.

this thing is pretty amazing.? is there anywhere where they rent them? as i imagine the pricetag on one is probably pretty heft! I need this thing so badly!! just bought a place and apparently the woman who owned it never heard of keeping up with the yard.just sort of let everything grow, now I have small trees everywhere and a root system from hell, plus a chain link fence which is engulfed by them!! please tell me these things are a common item on the marketplace and can be rented!!??ppplease?!!

THank you for your comments. I only made one of these and a lighter hand powered machine for smaler stuff and have never found time to market them. I would be happy if someone took a licence on it to produce them.

Hi, it will pull up to 12 inch conifers and the legs extend if you want to take a second bight.

But then you got to get rid of the stump and that sucks, this machine is neat, but it takes up the same room as a stump grinder and don't look cheap, great for post though

It's much quieter and quicker than a stump grinder and gets everything out. It doesn't leave a mess all over the place. Just rake the ground over afterwards and you wouldn't know there had been a tree there!

John Gorrett, that machine is not quicker than my stump grinder. It would not be able to remove any decent sized stumps, the whole in the ground is going to be fairly good sized with nothing to put back in, a stump grinder gives you the grinding so to put back in the whole, witch allows you to leave the ground level, as I said it's a neat machine! Great for pulling out post that are cemented in

Not everyone wants a border full of wood chips, and no if you rake over afterwards the ground is level. roots don't actually take up a lot of room!
