It really is a shame, she was a real inspiration/legend. That era honestly felt like a once in a lifetime experience. There are a few who at least put in effort now days, I'll give them some credit, I'm sure it can be hard to find that natural flow that these ladies seem to have in spades, a real talent. Everything seemed new and expressive back then, from the lyrics to the clothes and hair. You never knew who or what was going to pop up in a video. I grew up watching 90's music videos both in English and in Spanish and the way women were represented before was nothing like now. Naturally beauty, and women of all shapes, sizes, and skin color. As a kid I didn't take notice until in my late teens which was the end of the 90's that more and more of the women in videos where looking like each other, whether they were naturally that way or enhanced by medical procedures.
