um...no, the 80s and 90s were awful as far as music. Computer inventions allowed sampling, lip syncing and straight up theft of music. I prefer music from the 1970s and before. That's when artists really did sing, that's when musicians really played and that's when an artist earned his paycheck and award - you didn't get an award or paycheck for sampling someone else's music! Etta James, James Brown and so many other talented artists and groups EARNED their paychecks and they gave concertgoers a show to remember. Now, you can have someone make one song and called himself or herself an 'artist'. Heavy sigh.

Every Super Model, Movie Stars, TV Stars, Musicians and Authors as well. Tevin Campbell couldn't believe how famous he is in SA when he was performing in 2016 and he even came back the second time around in 2019 because of the reception. Hollywood Stars still get amazed when they visit South Africa or any other country around the world how people still honour, value and appreciate their craft even though they are no longer as famous as they used to be in America......
