I first saw Gina on Last Comic Standing. Her humor and perspective was a hit for me right away. When I saw her on Bob Hearts Abishola and she was so funny, I thought good for her. When I saw the credits and she was listed as a producer, I thought good for everyone who watches. Congratulations Gina, and thank you for making me laugh, think, and feel.

What I REALLY like about the show is that it feels so honest. My partner is Ghanian and every episode there's a laugh out loud moment for me when I recognise the behaviour. It is also really lovely that the show IS also representing MY relationship. Sure, I'm a white bloke and way too represented in probably every walk of life. But in this part of my life, something I get and can enjoy. Big hugs to all involved.
