Normally I'd agree with you about the disqualifications, Simon, but Priest was warned about the 5 count like 8 times and the ref physically tried to separate him 3 times. You cannot blatantly ignore the ref in any sport. This disqualification made sense in terms of why it happened. As far as booking goes, I think WWE might use this as apart of the story.

Agreed... It was several sequences of the ref audibly counting to 4 and physically pulling Priest off the ropes... A 5 count in the ropes is a time honored trope in wrestling for a dq, and it worked with Priest's psycho character development.

The referee job is to count to 5. I'm tired of refs doing more than this. Same thing in Aew, when the refs don't even bother counting to 10 on the outside. Ha.

I would like to formally say that no, my count is correct. On the last SmackDown Ups and Downs, I did count the double interruption as well as the Johnny Knoxville interruption making the total WWE interruptions 22. With RAW only having 1 interruption this week, my count of 23 is actually accurate (of course maybe there are 24 but Simon forgot and a reminder I only go off his counts because I don't watch WWE at the moment) But I do believe that my 23 is actually correct. However, since I do go on Simons's count, I will change the number to 24.
