I’m glad that Sami won, BUT what in the BLUE HELL was Bronson Reed doing the whole time Chad and Sami were going back and forth outside the ring at the end of the match? Simon breezed past it on the review, but seriously Sami, Chad and Otis did their thing for about 5 minutes outside the ring, Bronson snuck back in the ring and hung around in the corner just to eat a Helluvakick out of nowhere 😂😂😂

Can we talk about how much better the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments were compared to the Continental Classic? KotR and QotR had logical winners and had actual stakes on the line with the winners getting title shots at SummerSlam, plus they were able to build up and put over new stars like Lyra. Meanwhile, all the Continental Classic accomplished was giving Eddie Kingston a third meaningless blet to go along with the 2 other meaningless belts he already had.

That Orton/Gunther match was good, but it was one of the most Orton matches ever, just slow as hell with a lot of squaring off punctuated with moves rather than a constant struggle and strikes affair like Gunther tends to go with. I will say this, Orton sold like an auctioneer. Just constantly establishing how beat up he was and how well Gunther was working over his every weakness. Excellent work on his part.

Bonus Up for Becky's outfit. Absolute fire. EDIT: Also, Bonus Down for part of the Main Event. On the whole, the match was very good, but I felt like Cody was giving way too much to Logan early on, even before the brass knuckle shot. Cody should have been mostly in command until the knucks came out, but if anything it felt like Logan was pretty dominant. You're absolutely right that he is an *infuriatingly* good wrestler, but in character they simply should not be presented as equals. It didn't kill the match, it was a fun ride overall, but it did require a bit more suspension of disbelief than I like.

I don’t know if Randy messed up and he was supposed to take the pin there or the ref messed up and he wasn’t supposed to count the pin there. Either way, it wasn’t on Gunther. Not sure if HHH planned it that way or he just rolled with it for a story angle.

Not only has wwe stepped up in their storytelling and showmanship in production….but their in ring work is starting to really open up, they’re the best all around right now, and its a win for all wrestling fans that they keep improving week by week with these things

Simon keep getting mad at the women's tag titles being on the pre-show is strange... giving the fact both men's tag titles weren't even on the show and are currently being held by two comedic tag teams no one really care about... at this point I don't even understand why they split them up should've just unified them because truth and miz was a feel good moment for wrestle mania but should've got squashed by the wolf dogs first night of the draft and A town down under just have random talk shows and are sidekicks to random heels

Overall a really good show. Becky and Liv had a good match that made sense for Liv to win. Thanks to Dom-Dom "accidently" getting involved. Of course, the IWC is already saying that "Rebecca Quinn is All Elite." but that isn't happening. The Triple Threat was a fun brawl, with the right winner, Sami retaining. Gable getting rained down with "You Suck" chants Otis cost Gable which will lead to the fallout of Alpha Academy and his demanding a singles match with Sami. Lyra looked like a million bucks even in defeat, not a fan of Nia winning, but she'll feed on the hate for it. I just hope Nia doesn't become King Mabel 2.0. Gunther and Orton was another great match, a clash of Titans. The only problem was the ending felt flat, and Orton's shoulder was up, I do wonder if they will run it back? The winner was the right result. KING GENERAL GUNTHER! ​​Logan Paul continues to prove everyone wrong once again, and Cody is insanely over. The Announce Table went into business for itself. Also, Cody needs to bring out the VertaBreaker more. Cody was never losing but it did what it was a fun showcase match.

Randys shoulder being up keeps him looking strong (as he wasnt technically beaten), and puts more heat in Gunther’s corner, as he can say things like “it doesn’t matter what you or anyone thinks, the ref made it so and so it is, i am your king general”. I say lean into it, and use it in storylines. Let randy and Gunther’s rivals use it against them in promos, let them use their own perspectives to boast about how they are bad asses. Disappointing end to a great match, unfortunate whoopsie, but not something that truly wrecks anything going forward. Also, we could one day get a good rematch between them, and that also is another win. Would have loved a firm pinfall, And had they not used that camera angle, things would go forward more cleanly….but i think the accident can be used in a good way for stories, so screw it, lean into it
