saying that sequence between JD and Rick 'O Shea was too "indie" is supposed to be a bad thing because indie matches are notorious for the lack of selling, psychology and story-telling, generally speaking, of course. throwing a bunch of high moves makes it look like 2 Create-A-Wrestlers in a 2K game. it works for us because we're Smarks and can appreciate a good deal of athleticism, but for a casual audience and those who care more about the narrative, it's too much and doesn't make much sense

This Raw actually made me angry. With all the hubbub about Cody 'finishing the story' it baffles me that both Liv Morgan and Chad Gable lost. Both of them have a more compelling, story driven reason to want to wom those titles specifically from Rhea and Gunther. As far as i can tell, both Becky and Sami just 'want to be the champ' meaning they can win them off of anyone.

That gauntlet match completely killed the Ankle lock as a submission finisher... Gable had in on for AAAAGES, at least three times, and it did not result in the match being over. This move is a joke now just like the superkick... 😢

Simon I am happy they are FINALLY splitting the tag titles. There are 2 reasons. 1) it means anyone who wins is undisputed every time without earning both titles the real way and 2) not 2 tag teams get titles instead of just 1 team. Both shows deserve tag titles and now 2 teams will have the gold instead of just 1 team. Also happy for Candace to bc she deserves better and this might be her big chance! Zoey and Tiffany are the future and Zoey needs her own singles run NOW!!! Same with Ricochet!

I'd give a down to Sami winning the gauntlet. Chad Gable had all the story going into the match, he had all the build-up, but then he looked weak as hell when he couldn't put away a battered Sami. Trips made a bad call here, I don't think Sami should be the guy to end Gunther's reign, he's kind of a boring choice, should have went with Gable or maybe even someone like Bron Breakker. Kind of a deflating end to the show for me, really not looking forward to the IC title match, hopefully Gunther will retain because Sami just doesn't seem like a credible guy to break Gunther's streak.

I'll tell you a twist? Seth turns heel and sides with bloodline and Cody loses on light one. Drew wins against Seth despite interference from the Bloodline (Seth made a pact with Rock so they would help him retain, you can tell this story a month later, keeping the mystery alive). Cody is about to lose, with the entire bloodline coming to defeat him but Jey and Sammy come to help. They aren't enough and it's almost certain Cody is about to lose again. He doesn't get pinned and they are thrashing him and in comes Drew McIntyre, the new champion, along with C Punk and a chair, destroying the bloodline, helping Cody win, as the heroes stand tall

If you are going to swing for the fences that means that the baseball is thrown at 3 ft high so you can swing at the baseball in the first place and then the fences are 7 ft high so you'd have to start low and work your way up.....
