Did we watch the same Men's Royal Rumble? You said that after Grayson Waller showed up Jimmy and Jey didn't even look at eachother. However, Jimmy kept going after Jey. And there were times when someone would attack Jey and say "No yeet." And when anyone did attack Jey, Jimmy would try to high five them. I laughed when they'd just walk away, but Jimmy just kept smiling then would attack Jey.

I stopped watching wrestling 15 years ago and due to KZbin algorithms and the product being pretty darn good I got sucked back in about a year ago. This is the first PPV (ple now I guess) I watched, so colour me surprised to see the internet only talking about all the things the men’s rumble wasn’t. I am incredibly tired of someone pulling the ref or the person covering Roman out of the ring. It’s tired and boring. I don’t mind Roman cheating one bit, but it’s the same damn thing over and over. Now to be positive, every other match delivered really well. A lot of the women were showcased wonderfully and KO vs Paul was a solid match. The men’s rumble was a little predictable, but they did so well at keeping it a fun watch. Big up overall.

The outside shenanigans in Roman's matches have long grown old but I suppose that is all part and parcel of what is undoubtedly the most iconic title reign this century. Whoever takes the title off Roman (and I've got absolutely no doubt Cody will do it this WM) has to deal with said shenanigans and expect them, like I said it wouldn't be a Roman match without his Bloodline.

The rumble was all in all great fun. I mean, the two matches in the middle were a bit meh, but mostly because for both we basically knew what would happen. The men's match was pretty good (although I had expected at least one legend to make their appearance, and it didn't happen) and planted lots of seeds - and I don't think Jey v Jimmy is off, perhaps you missed how Jimmy was trying to befriend anybody who attacked Jey. Also, I am very, very happy that now the Wrestlemania main event scene has become a lot clearer and people can stop fretting about Cody's story everyday - it's not final and there are several weeks still to go, but it does look good for one Cody Rhodes. Carl Maximilian Punk on the other hand needs to reevaluate his plans, because that main event has gone a bit out of his reach. Either way, the women's match was clearly the best of the event, it was booked to near perfection. I would've liked Becky to win because I am a fan, but the way it was handled I was still very happy. Also, Jade now feels like the biggest star in the world, so that was done to perfection, they booked Naomi really well and all in all, the match was head and shoulders above the men's match. And I am really happy for Bailey, she deserves this so much.

Ups. The Women's Royal Rumble as a whole. Naomi and Liv's returns. Jordanne Grace as a surprise entry and more TNA crossovers in the future. Kairi's save. Jade's debut and impressive moment including throwing out Nia. Bayeying big win. The first half of the Fatal Four-Way until Solo showed up. KO vs Logan Paul's match. Jey and Jimmy are Number 1 & 2. Andrade's return. Bron Breakker is being unleashed. Everything R-Truth does. That final Four of Gunther, Drew, Cody, and Punk. Punk and Cody's mini-match, and Cody's win. Downs. The dark clouds that still linger over WWE. The ending of the Fatal Four-Way is because Roman still can't win clean. The lack of big surprises for the men's Rumble besides Andrade. All the spoilers by the dirt sheets. Overall a good show, maybe not the best Royal Rumble but a fun night that we needed. I would love to have seen AJ Lee, Big E, and a few others in the Rumble, but maybe one day.

I personally gave the women’s rumble an up, and the rest was a down. As someone who only watches the Rumble and WM, I can normally watch and think “Wow this person I don’t recognize is a star” and I never got that from the men’s rumble. For those wondering why Cody and not Punk, lets remember. Seth aint cleared yet for if he were to go and defend at wrestlemania, if he gets a no then they would need to start building a new feud and not the great feud we had from the start with Seth and him. So its kind of a safer bet to make Cody able to finish his story while Punk goes on to meet someone he can possibly work a match 2 PPV against for this one.
