A fantastic Smackdown. Madcap and Gunther had a solid match. The Banger Bros with another Banger. Bray Wyatt saved us from Slop Dolla rapping and called out Roman and Brock. Asuka looked strong but best of all, it was all about Sami Zayn. When World's Apart hit Sami got one of the biggest pops and crowd reactions of all time, yes I'll say even bigger than Punk's return. Sami has come full circle and is ready and can carry this company on his back. In everyone's eyes, he is the new People's champion. Make it happen WWE. This moment gets the 1000 Golden Ups

What then hell else is Brock gonna do other than put somebody over at mania. Why not Bray. If Taker passed the torch then Brock would be perfect. Bobby can lose, and get set up for a big mania win, bray stays away from the title picture and he also can get a big win over Brock who also just went over Bobby. WWE storylines are usually based on promos and activities outside of the ring as opposed to the matches. They have an opportunity to use tonight’s match to further the story with Sami and The Bloodline and give the fans what they want. It would be nice to see them avoid the predictable match outcome and put the belt on Sami tonight. They can make this match matter even if it wasn’t in the original plan.

So Asuka comes out, they go to commercial, then the Mysterio segment, and finally Liv Morgan comes out. What was Asuka doing during this time? Feels like a comedic bit. If it were Simon, I'd expect ventriloquism. Also Carmilla was hilarious on commentary. Nice to have heel color and have Wade Barrett say he's going to have some explaining to do with his wife when he gets home.

Simon you clearly did not understand the Bray Wyatt storyline at all. Cmon man. It seems to have went over most fans heads. Bray on his first night back on SD talked about how he wanted to go on his own path and not be the monster anymore. Uncle Howdy kept appearing to keep pushing him in that direction. He Sister Abigailed him to keep pushing him in that direction. Eventually Bray caved and accepted who he truly was and that is when we started having the rocking chair, the Firefly Funhouse skits and then Uncle Howdy jumping off the thing at RR on Bray's direction.
