If a employee recruited at the age 25 then he will have 35 yr service. Now if the employee want to take VRS after completing 25 yrs service in UPS. In that case the employee will have to wait for 10 more yr(60years) to be eligible for getting penson and if the employee is died at 59 yrs and his family is not covered under family penson then his whole 25yrs 10% employee contribution because Zero(0).

Normally Central Police personals (CRPF, BSF etc) are taking VRS after 20-25 years of service. Due to very early age (18-24 of age) induction into government service they are attaining there 25 years service in their 45-48 age. If they opted this UPS scheme and quit service by taking VRS then they will sit in home for 12-15 years with out any income and will wait for attaining their 60 years of age to start pension from government.

Jisko retirement me apne contribution ka full corpus (60% total) chayihe use NPS lena chahiye. Jise 50% basic pay assured har mahine chahiye use UPS choose karna chahiye. Aap dono option me koi bhi choose kar sakte hain. Badhiya to hai kyunki 2 optioms hain!!. To isme problem kya hai samajh nhi aaya mujhe....??
