Being a software developer (also a UPSC aspirant), I would like to mention that this approach need not always work... Consider the same example with different coins.. 1,2,5,73,75 and we need to get a total of 78 again.. With the above mentioned method the answer will be 3 (1,2,75) but in reality the answer should be 2 (73,5)... In such cases this method fails and calculation of all possibilities come into picture.

U need to assume a balance scale where u place 80 grams on one side using coins and on other side u need to put a 2 gram coin in addition to the 78 gram quantity which u need to measure , then you would be end up measuring that quantity as 78 grams

Guys😅 Its 💯 1st statement is saying "To Buy".. that's why its correct.. 2nd one is "To Weigh".. means Total Weight can be any thing.. Means 50g +25g+5g.=80 Gram(we crossed 80 grams kyunki weigh karna hai.. paisa count nahi karna hai)..
