Sir , 2022 and 2024 options were looking similar but no one analysed that 2022 statements were such like if you can make one statement wrong , you can easily cut other options and reach to the answer . But in 2024 , even if we cancel one statement , it was only cancelling a single option . Then matching is also three way with so many army questions . I think 2024 was on same difficulty as 2023 . Everyone feeling easy at first glance but when matched with answer key , too many wrongs . My opinion i think cut off General 78 not more than that .

I totally agree with you all. I am also on the same boat as you are. One thing I am still not able to comprehend is how come everyone is saying easier when the statements are framed in such a way that you cannot eliminate options. There are also multiple questions where the question is open to many interpretations and it is difficult to arrive at one perfect answer.

I gave 3 CSE attempts could'nt clear prelims in any attempt. Took a decision to skip 2024 prelims in order to secure a job. Got selecte in AAI JE (ATC). Could'nt take 2024 since training starts this year. Now preparing for 2025 and further attempts without a sword hanging over my head. Long story short Check out for Vaccancies by AAI (ATC and Common Cadre ) this year. There are a lot of vaccanices coming in near future. Exam is lesser known so lesser crowd in competition. This psu post is Group B equivalent Officer level Govt. job.

When you become a seller from a teacher, you learn the tactics of connecting dots in reverse gear. It’s UPSC prelims, and those who take it lightly should not prepare for it at all. So, incorporating the main course in the strategy of prelims is really a good tactic….😂😂

This is the fact that whenever the paper comes easy in any examinations there is higher chances of having silly mistakes.. Because we become less attentive towards attempting the questions as compares to tougher ones..

I've given 4 attempts including 2024. Wrote mains twice in 2022,2023. My 2024 prelims didn't go well. I'll most probably be not writing 2024 mains. I'm looking for a backup option. I'm 28 yrs old, engineering background. I have work experience from the software industry (but negligible- just 1 year). What other options can I pursue? Can SSC CGL be a good option? Please give some advice. A career counselor might help.

You should go for ssc cgl as it is a good opportunity this year until it's too late.

2023 questions were based on predictable topics. This year they had asked weird questions even in economy, environment and of course IR! Solving factual questions on random topic isn’t an easy task. The paper might seem easy to them on the outside but when you match the keys, easily one is going below 85.

The paper is not easy as everyone is saying.... Its definitely google easy if you are solving outside the exam hall I would say a moderate paper Accuracy level will take a dip for most people i guess because in the exam hall as soon as we see the paper we knew it was relatively easier wrt 2023 so the first instinct was to take a risk and attempt higher number of questions

CSAT isn’t easy per me, statement based where there, number system etc., though students practiced after 2023 jalak, they were time taking. Definitely 2024 csat was on easier side compared to 2023 but on par or tougher than 2022. Experts are saying comprehension was tough. I assume csat will play a role greater than 2022 and on par or less than 2023

You should hold this preparation for a while because you are not getting anywhere with those marks. Firstly listen to your parents,their financial issues, understand it then go for a backup plan thenafter if you want to prepare again,then you should restart. Otherwise you aren't getting anywhere with those marks i repeat. This fight is very neck to neck. Don't get overmotivated and take silly steps.
